You cant just go and spend big money, the selling club might just want to keep their star player and tell Spurs to get lost, but in kinder words.

January is difficult to business, and spunking money for the sake of getting things done is not an option either. Tired of this club wasting money and getting 2nd rate players in return.

Let's just see what they do, but I am waiting for the summer to se what they are really up to.

That sounds like 'Levynomics' to me...

After 11 games this season we've had 100 shots at goal and our opponents have had 116 shots.

Last season after 11 games we'd had 174 shots at goal and our opponents had had 96 shots.

Tried to find a Conte or Mourinho season for comparison but couldn't get a first eleven game breakdown.

You cant just go and spend big money,

Yes you can.

Other clubs do it and so should Spurs.

We've been hypnotised by the Levynomics crowd into believing the myth that for some reason Spurs can't buy the best available players and pay them the best wages.

Spurs once broke transfer records to bring in the best.

Sugar and his mates at ENIC, who he sold his shares to, after retaining his shares for the first 5 years of ENIC, were the people who changed all that.

This losers mentality stems from the boardroom since 1991.

Spursy was created by these people.

That's... quite a differential...

Yeah but;

The opposition are having to shoot more because they can't get in our box.

Go Ahead Yes GIF

No we can't go out and spend likes it's a summer window.

Not going to happen.

We might get some business done in some critical areas.

All your doing is asking for the unrealistic.

If you want to keep VDV and any other top players who emerge out of this group then THFC need to start spending at the levels of the other serious clubs.

I'm not asking for it btw.

I'm demanding it.

I'm not sure it was really. Rice is very good, but they definitely overpaid. The difference for them is the two centre backs. They are top tier and their results usually coin ide with one of them missing.
He is one of the best players in his position in the world and, if anything, seems to be getting better. Can we say that for any of our record breaking buys? Nope. Nothing even close.

As a return on investment it's been 100 million well spent.

Obviously scum have made plenty of shit purchases and we've made plenty of good ones but at the top end we've always seemed to miss which is frustrating.

Like being able to play normal football? Not prime Barcelona, as you love referring to, just decent football. That's not realistic according to you either.

What is, pray tell?
Normal football? What's this BS of which you speak?

Normal football, is a meaning phrase.

Seeing as every manager has a different style, so what exactly is normal football and for whom?

Even then, you being insanely thick as you are, if you did manage to define what normal football is, you still can't get it into to that lard brain of yours... That it is going to take time and players to play the football you want to see, from the cluster fuck of last season.

You're just a whiny little child demanding unrealistic instant change.

I mean, being able to any way instead of hoofing it up top or trying to get crosses in. I want to see passing in triangles, one touch football, playing through the middle, little one twos to break lines. We're not even playing park the bus football, we're playing struggle ball. We do nothing, and we do it horribly, which is rather impressive.

I've explain 5000 times how it's not sustainable, to which you've called me every name under the sun, but I haven't been proven wrong like 8 weeks in now.

Again, when he's sacked, the new coach on match 1 will have us playing football, as described by that tiny brain of mine in paragraph one.

You call everyone stupid, yet feel the need to embarrass yourself daily with this shtick you do. If I were a grown man and got on like you do, I'd be very embarrassed.you sound like an uneducated idiot.

So you have no idea about football, or the many different ways to play it.

It's all about your interpretation of how it should be played... So you haven't got a single clue what you are talking about.

Once again, it takes time and patience to implement a style of football.

Especially when the only functioning part of the squad is the defence.

I only call people like you thick... because well, you're just a clueless thick idiot.

I just told you, maybe you should learn to read, friend. I have a pretty good idea about football, but thank you for your assumption. I can talk about it like a rational person, unlike you, with the big school bully energy. Everything okay at home babe?

What is our style of football now, oh wise one?

So the great Frank brought in 6 players and none of them function in the team? That's an interesting insight into our tactical genius of a coach. Jeez.

You don't say anything, you just call people idiots. Like nothing you say at all has any substance, but you feel the need to lash out at everyone else.

You're a small man.
