I juwt don’t see this guy getting us anywhere. He’s treating us like we are Brentford. Similar to Nuno’s tenure, but even then we had more attacking threat.

Been alive for 50+ years, supporting Spurs for 45ish. We've had countless managers in that timeframe. My memory ain't that good these days, but I can't remember a Spurs manager with tinier balls than Frank. Absolute coward. The polar opposite of "To Dare is To Do".

I'm all for giving a new manager time and yeah, looking at all the mitigating circumstances, but let's be real...he ain't gonna grow a set of bollocks all of a sudden and start playing football. Nah, it's still gonna be caveman scaredy cat shite, even with better players.

Fuck you, Frank. Embarrassed by Chelsea and humiliated by Woolwich. Fuck you.

Thank you Daniel

Disappointed with the lack of ideas we have in terms of playing forward and through midfield.

Very, very poor today considering its a NLD. Get the approach as it's away from home in terms of slowing it down and being compact but there's very little on the ball in terms of constructing attacks.

Fulham at home next Saturday he really needs to play for the crowd or things are going to get ugly very quickly.

I was fine with his XI and the decision to go with a back 5, even though I'd have preferred one of the two CMs in front of a back 5 to be more attacking minded and dynamic lest it became a back 7: Someone like Bergvall for example. However it would be hypocritical of me to call him out on these grounds in hindsight, so I'm not going to.

We couldn't even defend properly though, that's the issue. First goal came from a routine run in behind that players perform dozens of times in a game, where even the runner himself doesn't actually expect the pass to get through. Meanwhile Eze had all the time and space in the world right on the edge of the box in the second AND the third. And in each case were we sitting back with 7 or 8 defenders, not playing a suicidal high line or anything. That's nonsense.

I'll hold my hand up and admit that even I once mistakenly thought that he sorted the defense out, but this myth needs to be put to rest at this point. We're 1/3 into the season and have nearly the worst xGA in the entire league, and our GA has started to reflect that as well. Once more teams become as clinical as Woolwich were today, he'll be on a hiding to nothing.
