I don't think anyone can say that the boss coached a win. He coached a terrible defeat and made a big mistake with his selection.

Away at PSG we played 3 solid midfielders in Palinha, Benta and Sarr with Kudus as a 10 and Richi at 9. Playing Odobert as LWF with Kudus RWF left far too much space for our 2 CMs to cover and it disintegrated immediately, we completely failed to disrupt Woolwich's play.
I agree. We should have went 5 in midfield.
Its not the first time our main striker has been left on his own for a hoof upfront and no one within 30 metres. Once again our whole midfield was none existent. 2 players sitting on the 18 yard line yet woolwich with acres to play in in midfield and the box. Very puzzling

Current premier league form table over 10 games.

11th. Newcastle 14 points
12th Brentford 13 points
13th Spurs 12 points
14th Fulham 12 points
15th Liverpool 12 points.

Our next 5 league games. You couldn’t write this stuff!

Fulham h
Newcastle
Brentford h
Forest.
Liverpool h

This might be all the time he gets……… either be top half or closer to 17th come Xmas day.
Throw in an away game at PSG and it's very hard to see where wins are coming from. The way we play at home there almost a write off (how fucking bad even thinking this but 3 wins in 20 home games tells the story), we never win up at Newcastle and this bunch of players / manager will never go away to a Sean Dyche team and beat them.
Franks in real trouble

Hopefully the club don't dither and twiddle their thumbs with this. This slide isn't going to stop. We're in trouble.

Despite the cries we weren't lucky, and our opening schedule wasn't easy, our luck has run out, and opposition has got tougher. How do we look for it?

That would be an insult, had this brick wall not been correct in seeing this coming and been saying it for fucking weeks.

Oh I'm thinking about what will happen if he doesn't get sacked. The slide is going to be outrageous. It's clearly go nowhere, not working football. Players look like they've given up, no surprises with what they're being asked of. We have genuinely no plan, and with the fans getting uneasy, you're an idiot of you think the club won't do something.

Get a caretaker in til the end of the year, but I assure you, this won't get any better, and he'll be sacked because it's untenable. You go on like I choose the appointments, Jesus wept.

Nuno crap. Frank crap. Same difference.

Like talking to a brick wall.

'Get a caretaker' Good Lord 🤣

ok

I’m not a particular Ange fan club member and he absolutely had huge flaws but if you gave him this squad with Romero and VDV healthy we’d be in a much much better place this season than we are now
At least with Ange though we had the first 10 or so games and just before VAR ruled out the second against Chelsea I actually thought we were winning it all , we did win the EL with him though so I’ll take that!
The thing with games like last night is you can lose the dressing room , getting smashed up 4-1 and giving your rivals the easiest game they will have all season is just not good enough. I get the squad is not the best but worse squads will go there this season and put up more fight than we did , I think this is one of those situations where if it gets ugly now he could be gone by Christmas

Sign of a weak manager who has lost the plot and is completely void of ideas. Body language on the touchline all wrong as well. This job is way too big for him and he knows it.
We said the same a few month ago. And it was the same with Mourinho and others. I'm not a fan of Frank (nor was I one of Nuno or Ange) but there's a pattern here.

Besides - I fucking hate this internet/social media bullshit with all those weird groups, already did with Ange (either cult or out - Frank at least doesn't have cult members). There shouldn't be a Frank out campaign (yet), sacking Nuno was wrong too (and we only did that because Conte was ante portas). Let's see in January where we are and who is available. Otherwise keep him till summer.

If this guy is playing the “you finished 17th” card, someone should remind him we also won a European trophy. If we are comparing notes for progress.
We played Woolwich at the Emirates last season while missing up to 10 players (dragusin and Gray CB pairing) and only lost 2-1. We were outplayed that day but players atleast showed fight and Porro hit the post at the end to nearly rob a 2-2 draw.

Yesterday was far worse. We'd most our players available and it looked like we just only planned to sit back and let them dominate us. It was the most one sided north London Derby in my lifetime. I don't think Frank has made any progress on that metric.

He can harp on about 17th all he wants to cover up his failings but there's no way these players win any cup under him! Atleast the players loved Ange and would injured themselves playing for him every week. Our players just walk around and look pissed off under Frank

Aston Villa L
Chelsea L
Woolwich L
Newcastle L (cup)
Bournemouth L

It's not looking great really.

The manner of the defeats to Chelsea and Woolwich makes it feel a lot worse.

I said a few posts up (or in the match thread) that the guy that didn’t care about defending wasn’t this bad. This was as bad as anything we’ve seen in the last few years.
