I reckon even you'd get a better tune out of this team right now. We stick with him, we're fucked. You want that, fair play to you.

Ah would you ever pipe down you moron. Emotions. I've been saying the same thing for fucking weeks. What I've said would happen is coming to pass, because anyone with an ounce of football knowledge could see this unfolding. It's not going to get better, and I'd at least like to be entertained, of nothing else for the rest of this year.

You're a contrary bollox.

Ok.

ok

Can't afford to lose to Fulham next week, or those in the lofty positions might legitimately start to ask questions.

Yesterday it was what it was, and the result was absolutely as I expected, and where the fantasists came up with all manner of unjustified reasons for thinking we would win.

Fulham, who got a good win on the weekend will absolutely fancy it, and more than the PSG game, Frank has to avoid a loss.

If not, hnmmmmmnnn..... which is simoly a function of the demand.
If those in the lofty positions aren't asking questions, there's something wrong.

I'm not looking like an idiot so much now, am I? It was as obvious as anything we'd completely crumble when our luck ran out.

Frank is out of his depth. That's it.

If Slot hadn't have won the league last year and got some credit in the bank, he'd be a goner to be fair. They're in shambles too.
They need to be brave, drop Salah, sell him in Jan and lay a gauntlet down that no one is bigger than the club.

No doubt they give us a hiding to nothing. Isak will open his account against us, and give them back that feel good factor.

You get the impression AFCON will come at just the right time for Salah to be shifted.

Let's see.

My simiple view is that we need to find some results, and that the Woolwich and PSG games were not going to be where it happened.

Fulham is a very big game and we are going to go into it with fear and trepidation, both on and off the pitch.

If Frank didn't know what pressure feels like, he will now.

Has he got a Young Harry Kane he can bring on to get the win? :pochohshit:

Mate, that result and performance was always coming. We might sneak a result out of Fulham, only because they're dreadful. It'll mean nothing for the short to medium term.

This experiment is done for. There isn't one thing that we do that you think "oh, that looks good/promising". It's a guy who managed a small team and had to play a certain way. Came to a big club doing the same thing and it goes up in flames like Nuno. Absurd to me that he's getting more time than him. Both inept at this level, and the quicker we move on put this mistake behind us, the better.

At least the next appointment isn't going to be a pragmatic manager, the club surely aren't as tone deaf to do this again.

Yes the Fulham game is huge but the problem is our home form has been so poor because of the ultra defensive approach - which has worked away from home, bar yesterday.

For Frank to come out of this he has to rip up his set up and start over. Evolve or die.

If he doesn't he'll get sacked sooner rather than later.

The fans will not accept playing this way and picking up a modest amount of points.

For me the alarm bells where screaming last night when he dropped in the 17th league finish last season.

That's a huge indicator that he doesn't feel like he's got the confidence for any of this.

We haven't got a single player who inspires us. Not even close.

You could not categorically say any of our players will have a stand out game.

Some of that is confidence., but it's also on Frank and team to get players developed. No real sign of that as yet but in that regard it's early days.

What we can't have are too many days like yesterday. That only leads to one outcome. Time for Frank to get the team playing.

I think Arteta winning the FA Cup in his FIRST season bought him a coupla additional seasons... Let's not forget THAT?

So we hire a manager for one thing, he fails, spectacularly and we have to get him to rip it up and start again?

Wouldn't that kind of suggest to you that maybe we made the wrong appointment?

I'm not particularly Frank in or out because I don't think it will make a blind bit of difference either way.

But for those that do want him out. Can you answer me one question.

How do you coach mentality into a team? Vic came out and said that we didn't fight in a NLD. And everyone knows we downed tools and didn't give a fuck in the league from probably Feb onwards last season.
So how does any manager get these players to knuckle down and leave everything on the pitch?

We tried Conte, We tried Mourinho. Two of the sternest task masters in English football.

So please tell me how you turn a bunch of dossers into a bunch of winners, I'm all ears.

Yes it would. I had my doubts but what the fuck do I know...but I'm willing to give any new manager time providing we're not falling off a cliff.

I don't remember Brentford being this defensive though, they could mix it up from what I can remember.

Let's see what he does this Saturday. If he starts Palinhna and Bentancur at home to Fulham he'll be gone sooner than later.

I'm hoping he changes it up big time and we see some front foot attacking football on Saturday evening.

Huge night for him.
