The more I think about the setup yesterday the more damming it is, 3-4-3 with 2 dm's that don't want the ball meaning you're playing with 7 defensive players on the pitch and not even a counter attacking threat as you had no-one to pick out passes (Porro benched), absolutely mental - like what was the actual plan here? 😖
 
Thats our 2 biggest games where frank has not motivated the team to turn up. Chavs and Woolwich. Add to that we have given wolves 1 of there 2 points and we were at home.

We have an awful front 3 atm so that isnt helping plus the midfield has no creativity to get them the ball.

That's a lot easier said than done, trust me.
 
I would like to post on behalf of Thomas Frank.
He's a hard-working, intelligent, thoughtful manager. He needs to be given time and he needs an improved squad. We should be patient, see who arrives in the Summer and re-assess at the early part of the '26 season.
He needs effective replacements for Kane & Sonny (criminally overdue!) and improvements in a couple of other positions. Then we should move up the table and re-establish our 'Top 6' credentials - but mid-table is where we're currently heading and unless we buy very well (or are lucky) in January that's where we'll finish.
Are the Lewis Family really committed to building the Club on the pitch? - the next two transfer windows will tell us. If they aren't, Frank won't want to be here anyway and I'm not sure I will either. Frank's ambitious and I'm bloody fed up.
Sadly, if we get any form of European football next season, we'll have done well.
So, temper expectations, give the guy the time he needs and pray for a cash injection, or we'll just keep going back to square one again, with yet another manager who fails.

C'mon Motherfuckers C'mon.

Again this isn't how football works, players don't just pick and choose whether they want to defy the manager or not.

Yesterday it felt like we just had no clue what to do. Players weren't even winning their own 1v1 duals. They all looked totally lost out there.

The moment that summed the game up to me was Spence taking a throw around their final third (20 seconds before Eze's goal to make it 4-1). We spent the whole week probably practicing Danso's long throws into the box that Spence just looked lost taking the throw in. Not one player showed for the ball. They were all looking around and not knowing who should be where. This is at 3-1 in a NLD where a second goal could change everything! We eventually just threw it back to them and they scored, game over!

That looked so clueless to me. The body language was so bad. It was like we were just so beaten up by our own tactics that our players were lost on the pitch and had no answers. It was just more evidence that the players are losing faith in Frank.

Just my opinion but I don't think Frank gave VDV and Romero the licence to make those lung bursting runs for the 3rd and 4th goals against Copenhagen when down to 10 men.

Maybe I'm doing Frank a complete disservice and he coached the team to create space so that our centre backs could drive forward with the ball and that was our plan when down to 10 men.

To me if felt like VDV and Romero went rogue and Frank could only sit back and watch it work out.

Well Im pretty sure he didn't give vdv instructions for a full pitch solo run 😅

Maybe they have the freedom to roam forward when they see the chance to do so...

Some managers would be pretty upset and bench them the next match but I don't have an idea how Frank feels about that.
I lean towards the conclusion that he doesn't has the authority / balls to bench players like spence and vdv for their behaviour after the Chelsea match.
So I think he just lets things like in the Copenhagen game slide because he has bigger problems to deal with and doesn't want to take a big risk by benching very important players...

Sarr came on for the last 3rd of the game yesterday but not that surprising you didn't notice him. Really poor from him for their 4th goal, ball watching instead of tracking Eze.

The body language is definitely off everyone can see that, as I said the look massively bored with the tactics, I don't think he's lost the dressing room though but they do need fresh impetus.

The dressing room leaks haven't started yet, won't be long until Matt Law reports that a source close to the player has said that Frank is losing the players!

Yeah I'd like to think the players are all still working hard behind the scenes and doing everything they can to help Frank turn it around.

Just with the recent performances and poor body language, it feels like they are losing faith very quickly in him.

Yup. He was losing everything and offering nothing - not even a scintilla of hope. Forest's form plummeted like a stone under Ange.

Frank's situation is a bit different. There is still hope and our current dismal situation is clearly not all down to him. We've been shit for ages.

I don't know if we were 3 or 4 goals down but we had a throw in and we took so long that the ref was pointing at his clock.
That was really emberassing.
I dont think Frank is the long term answer but I don't see the point in him leaving before next summer.
Of course things could turn toxic pretty quickly but that’s more down to how the players will behave in the next few weeks than the reaction of the supporters

Yeah its full Nuno mode now. The home game against Fulham is huge for Frank. I think if we don't score early the place will turn toxic. Especially if he makes any bad subs or takes off an attacking player. The crowd will jump on him with a chorus of boos if we aren't winning the game.
