But he keeps selecting them. I mean Richarlison. Yes he tries, but his all round game is not good enough.

He's not effective enough as a focal point and the team is suffering as a result. Yes he's scored some beauts so this seems harsh but he isn't good enough. We all know it yet Frank keeps starting him.
I mean play him on the LW where he’s played most of his career. Will offer more than Odobert, keeps him there for the occasional worldie and gives us the chance to play with an actual target man. Or blood Scarlett. Who can’t be worse at this point.

Missed the game yesterday. Usually NLD are the games you can't miss and I would've done anything to be able to watch it normally. Yesterday I just couldn’t be bothered about it, if anything it was a relief that I wasn't able to watch it. Because it was inevitable that it was gonna be another game where we lose and barley turn up. I want to wake up on NLD days feeling absolutely sick because I'm so nervous but I just fel absolutely nothing and that's so much worse. Haven't posted a lot last months and a big reason for that is that I just struggle to feel anything regarding Spurs. I watch most of the games but afterwards I just turn off the TV and do something else. I don't have the energy to discuss the results, players or whatever. I think it was even worse during Nuno but it's not that far off.

Regarding Frank, to put this more on topic, I admit I was one of those who was positive about him when we got him. Didn’t expect to us to be ultra attacking with him in charge but I certainly didn’t expect it to be this negative. What I'm most disappointed about is how we're approaching the big games. A big reason why I wanted him is that I thought he was a smart tactical manager who would find ways to at least make us competitive in the big games, and I thought/hoped there were positive signs against PSG and City earlier in the season, but holy shit it's bad. Do I want him sacked? Not really. Mainly because I don't trust us to get the next appointment right so may as well see if he can turn things around, but right now it's hard to believe that will happen unless he changes things massively.

Scarlett definitely deserves an opportunity after his cameo against Copenhagen. He really impressed me, its deserved at least.

It’s a valid point, but we knew two of those were fucked before a ball was kicked this season and knew that Solanke was questionable.

It’s a disgrace not replacing Son, it’s a disgrace not being prepared for the season.

But it’s also a disgrace setting out the way we are and having no fight.

He’s also failing to get a tune out of Johnson, arguably the one thing that Ange managed to do well.

Johnson will never (assuming both are fit) get ahead of Kudus, and Johnson is pretty much ineffective on the left.

Frank is building a team, and has had just one transfer window. With Paratici now back and in full swing I would be amazed if we did not spend and spend big in January, and indeed next Summer.

The owners made a statement of intent after Levy was ousted, something that they didn't need to do, and I think that they were genuine when they released that unprovoked statement. In fact that's precisely why Levy was canned.

Indifferent performances should be expected given our injury list, squad depth, new manager, and the fact that we played a team on Sunday who's manager has been given six seasons and financially backed.

That we played poorly on Sunday wasn't just down to our players, but also down to an opponent that had a team far more balanced, skillful and experienced.

Matt Law has excellent souces at the club.

I knew I wasn't seeing things when I thought the players don't look happy. They look frustrated.

Also, the constant chopping and changing Frank has been doing, where he hasn't settled on a consistent starting 11, doesn't help either.

Yes we've had injuries, but how can you play Bergvall and Gray in midfield one game, win, and then then you never see them again and play Palhinha and a plodder in midfield instead.

i had this fear early on with his rollout here but dismissed it because it's all juju/emotions crap but looking back now i think winning the squad's respect is a big deal and it's not going well. i think managers who didn't play at the highest levels can struggle with getting a squad onboard and i think it's doubly important at a club like spurs with less recent successes. that may have been poch's biggest strength and the players would've run through walls for him and believed him when he said things. really feeling the eyes rolling when frank speaks at the moment. not good!
i have to agree!

It's either him or Tel tbf

I'd actually prefer Tel but he would have been swallowed up mercilessly by Saliba and Hincappie

Matt Law is one of the club-approved journalists, but he's also a known BS merchant who publishes articles like these for clicks. If Frank was actually anywhere near trouble, then Law would go a lot further than "some players wished he focused more on attacking in training."

Yeah I know.

But there is a disconnect with him and some of them. I don't know what the answer is, obviously we need to see how things go over the next few weeks but these leaks coming out are never, ever a good sign.

Normally it's the beginning of the end.

I hope not because player power these days is ridiculous.

The thing Ange Derangers don't want to accept (because they are incapable of taking responsibility for their deranged and incoherent opinions) is quite simply this:

If you tell the world that the problem with your team is the FAT FUCK FRAUD CUNT of a manager who personally cuts the hamstrings of every player - then you build an expectation that all that needs to change is the manager.

So when the NEXT GUY comes in he simply must succeed. He must get us at least Top 5 OR get us a TROPHY of some kind because that's what the LAST GUY did. And you have assured us that the LAST GUY was THE WORST.

So when the NEXT GUY comes in and puts up two of the worst xG performances in the entire history of the club against our most bitter rivals - then there's nowhere to hide. You can't now say "oh but the squad is shit" because that's not the grace you gave to the last guy and, anyway, the NEXT GUY must at least MATCH the last guy's record. You can't say "but but... injuries" because you didn't give that grace to the last guy.

So now the NEXT GUY becomes a target for the same derangement and vitriol you yourself poured over the LAST GUY.

Ange Derangers are the primary cause of Frank Derangers. You made this bed.

Because there's nothing this fanbase likes more than sacking a manager. And the cycle will just continue on and on and on.

Unless you learn from your mistakes and grow as people.

No one wants Postecoglou back. We just want you to STOP BEING DERANGED.

Be rational; look at underlying numbers; understand the context of the state of the squad and which players are actually fit; build a rational expectation level.

And don't, at any stage, pretend that winning a European Trophy is meaningless. That is the single most glaring feature of Derangement.

Do better. Be better. Educate yourselves. Support the manager. Support the team.

Thanks for attending my TED TALK 😇

He has time even if he lost to Fulham, which I'm expecting to. We are never getting anything at SJP. But Brentford one is significant if his old club actually beat him with so many players departed. That only underlines further how much he could be holding back Brentford lol.
If we lose at home to Fulham he'll be sacked on Sunday morning. That'll be the defining Nuno moment. We can't lose at home to Fulham.

What we have lost so far this season:

Son 11 goals + 9 assists
Solanke 16 goals + 3 assists
Maddison 12 goals + 7 assists
Kulusevski 10 goals + 4 assists

But our fans still think we should be scoring for fun with Kudus (never a prolific goalscorer) Richarlison (give me strength) Odobert and Tel (two twenty year old's) Johnson a very hot and cold player, and Muani who hasn't played or has been injured.

But let's just fire the manager and get some magician in who will turn those aforementioned players into Mbappe overnight.
Brennan Johnson is our top scorer last season and can't get a game. Simons is our most creative player and was bought for 60m+ and didn't start yesterday. It wouldn't make a difference. He can't coach them.

Let's give him a brand new front 3 in January so and see what happens? Is that your solution. We're digging a hole. Plenty of players in our squad with big potential and he just can't get any of it to work so far
