I mean this is dire, to do this against our biggest rivals too.

I actually mistakenly thought Frank would do ok and that for sure there was no way he would be worse than Ange in those two fixtures, but he has actually been worse. Unbelievable

This will need to change

Why did this shit only count for Ange though?

The media appear to have made up their mind about him already and like it or not that really does impact how fans feel.
View from lane and Libero were very damning of him with the VFTL lads saying he should go. Popular spurs pods like fighting cock and echo of glory are close to turning.
I don't disagree with what they're saying based on everything we have seen.
A Number of fans have already made up their mind as well as has been seen with their reaction to man utd subs and Chelsea shit show.
Once it gets like this managers don't turn it around. If it's another typical home game against Fulham then reckon after losing against Newcastle next Tuesday he's done for.

Is sacking manager after manager, pretending the next one is going to make the difference, a solution?

I get that it probably feels like the easiest thing to do, but we should know by now that sacking the manager is just putting aside what the real problems at this club are.

Sack the manager today, and one of two things will happen: 1) We'll find a placeholder until the summer, appoint some new hyped manager (which any intelligent manager will stay away from this mess of a club if we are firing managers after 4 months), and then be right back in this same spot by this time next year give or take a few months. 2) We find a replacement immediately and are already looking for a new manager by the summer.

Our only hope is that most of this current mess is Levy's responsibility, and he is gone. So a slim chance that the new leadership structure will improve this club's terrible recruitment, medical history and general management, but I would not count on much improvement.

I think we've all been fooled by the promise that the new stadium and diversification of revenue would be used to make this a better footballing club. Footballing is no longer the sole means of revenue and in fact, it is the least stable (compared to concerts/events). I don't see the owners caring about anything until it impacts their earnings.
What is the alternative? Stumbling on whilst we slip into obscurity and possible relegation?? The club isn't going to sell 30 players and buy 30 new ones in January and no matter how much he keeps on about the comparison with lego head and 14 transfer windows, Frank ain't getting that. Lose tomorrow, Saturday and get bent over by Newcastle and he's gone.

There aren't great quotes. "We were competitive". Well we weren't against Bournemouth.

Every words from him will always have about losing. Fucking hell. I remember the very first few pressers he already talked about 'there will be losses' in the entire season. He honestly doesn't need to say that. Nobody is expecting him to have an invincible season, yet he keep talking down our chances of winnings with such stupid quotes.

There is no doubt we have some bad injuries.

But even with Muani and Simons on the pitch, do we look any better? I mean they are arguably bigger talents than Solanke and Kulu. I don't see Solanke and Kulu coming back and transforming our side? Where would Kulu even play? He's hardly a 10. Kudus plays right.

Maddison is a huge miss, and in hindsight, our season was effectively finished when he did his CL. It was a write off. He was basically the one player we couldn't afford to lose. But even then, he's hardly world class like Kane and Son was.

However, Frank has his defence fit yet we still look terribly open. We looked a bit more solid at the start of the season but the underlying stats point to us still being really vulnerable despite Frank playing a very conservative and pragmatic style of play.

The question is, what exactly is a Frank team supposed to look like in 1,2 or 3 years? 5 years? We will never be a possession side, and generally those are the teams that win trophies.

At this stage, Muani and Xavi are inexperienced in the PL and... well... PSG rejects in one format or another.

Solanke is PL experienced, and Kulusevski is by far better than either of the above at this level/competition.

So far as it goes, Muani and Xavi could pull off masks, scooby doo style, and be revealed as Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear and people wouldn't be shocked

Deki’s “minor” knock has turned out to have required major knee reconstruction. Is he even going to be the same player?

He doesn’t even seem to be close to a return.

Solanke’s “minor” ankle issue resulted again in surgery and he’s seemingly not even training either despite us repeatedly being told that it was close. Now they aren’t sure.

Neither are going to return and save us anytime soon. If at all this season.

Solanke and Kulu are unlikely to be anywhere near their best until next season.

I am the only one who doesn't like these quotes?

Not to jump all over them but they don't scream confidence do they....Frank just doesn't sound like he's confident at all.

Might be worth watching the press conference, people used to do this with Ange and take his quotes out of context, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until I see how it comes across.

Same with Maddison. So basically, or at least arguably, our best front 3 players are out for most of the season.

When it was 3 of our back 4, it was a blatant reason why we'd have a weaker defence.

But the former is not being connected to why we'd have a weaker offence.

Nuno had Kane and Son, but didn't register a shot on target for something like 3 games, so I'm not buying that it's some kind of xG crisis. Frank is at a major disadvantage but the factors are being disregarded.

I don't know how players will react to such coward of a manager, especially from a group who have finally tasted winning a title last season to play under someone who has no fire or passion in his belly. I honestly don't think the dressing room likes playing for him.
