We had players going down under conte and Mourinho as well, we just lost our two best defenders last season and people seem to think it was his poor management skills.
I'm fairly sure that he would have fitness coaches and trainers working on the strength and stamina - I would have thought that if any fingers were to be pointed it should be at them.

They have a very decent team. United have a very ok squad too. All of them are relatively average in the grand scheme of winning top honours.

They beat us more than we beat them. That’s quite consistent. I think going back further they’ve won like 6 of 8 or some shit, including FA cup.
Our squads are very comparable in strength imo and Villa have been a consistent top 4 challenger since Emery took the helm and were very competitive in the CL last season.
What I disagree with is shady’s schtick that we clearly have a better squad. We don’t.

Yes. They have a handful of players who still walk in to our eleven. Rogers is so far ahead of our attacking players it isn’t even funny. They have more well rounded, mature fullbacks and a better goalkeeper and central midfield.
Literally all we have on them is a better centre back partnership (And Torres-Konsa is VERY stable and good) and higher ceiling.

SQUAD mate, you know what a squad is right? Do you know why we compare squads as opposed to the first 11?

The starting eleven is literally the most important part of any teams squad. And the benches they’re putting out are minimum as good as ours .. someone like Sancho on them while we regularly START Odobert.
What little "tics" did he have on the touch line or in pressers that we would all slay him for? Gum chewing coughing CUNT? Did he make subs slightly too late for peoples liking?
What kind of bomboclaat nonsense is this? No-one exclusively plays with their starting 11 and teams need their entire squad in a seasonal campaign so just talking about the first eleven again highly irrelevant to my point.
Go and look at their backup players, the fact that we've had 4/5 players who would start for us constantly injured this season and we're literally 3 points off them in the league tells you all you need to know.
