I mean, he has the final word on who he gets, no manager would work under the terms you've laid out. He literally said himself that he and the club were slow on signing players because they working together to identify the right players.

Some nonsense gets said on here.
No he doesn't.

No Spurs managers have much of a say in the signings. Conte and Jose both said as much. If the highly decorated Conte couldn't get the signings he wanted what chance has Frank?

You understand that there is a world of difference between selecting from a pool of players that want to come and are in budget and in the right wage bracket vs getting your first choice to improve the team if money was no object right?

Last season was garbage,Europa apart, which did not mask anything.
Then you aren't a real Spurs fan. Sorry to break that to you buddy. It was absolutely EVERYTHING.

We will likely never know, but breaking the "spurs" tag and "trophy dodgger" shit was absolutely massive.

We lifted a trophy against all odds... Everyone had wrote us off! We had so many players out with so many freak injuries but we still did it!!

You'll remember that season in your old age than 95% of the others that have been before and will come after.

Please, stop being a simp and realise.

We really could be in a battle near the bottom soon. I can’t see where the next win is coming from. Our home form alone will get us flirting with relegation. Just don’t see it with Frank at this football club. It’s never going to work

Ah whatever, you know best. A fly on the wall. I mean, you're saying what Frank said happens, doesn't happen.

No point in continuing this debate, much like any debate with you. Absolute nonsense.

We had Conte AND Kane and Son and still couldn’t do anything.
That says all you need to know about our club.
Any manager we have has my sympathy cos we are pretenders.

I actually don’t know what we should do anymore.

We’re shit and that’s it.
Yeah. I'm at a point where I am just accepting that we are shit and it won't change for years. Don't even get angry anymore and couldn't care less about this bunch of players/coaches/others and even our supporters who are fucking cunts on social media platforms. We turned into a shit version of Woolwich.

Total bobbins!

Yes the Europa League win was glorious, but you’d have had to be blind not to see the shortcomings in our performances last season.

That was what Notabadsquad was getting at, so it’s pretty disingenuous to label him as ‘not a real Spurs fan’!

Eze was our target yet when he chose to go to Woolwich the panic set in. Probably got told its xavi or no one.
They should've got that done well early and dragged their feet. Half this sub said he was shite too and signing Xavi was seen as a masterstroke if you go back and look here. You don't just have one target per position. You have 5/6 and those players should have qualities that help your system. If that was the choice he was given, and didn't want Xavi, he should've shelved it, we may as well have bought no one. That's on him.
