Our managers get the final say as in: "do you want these bargain bin players or none at all?", so yes they get a final yes or no. But it's not much of a say is it?
Thank you

You articulated it better than me

You can easily see this because you can tell that Frank really doesn't want to play Xavi and doesn't know how to fit him into his system and he was supposed to be one of our "marquee" signings.

Our transfer team and several of the bad eggs need to go before any manager. They are fucking inept

Yeah I'm not sure he's the guy to back now. He talked all week about starting fast and playing on the front foot, literally the polar opposite happens.

We keep conceding the same sort of goal on the edge of the box, he's a real blind spot for this and is not fixing the issue.

Making the subs right after the goal was terrible timing, not allowing the lift of the goal to elevate the team.

I just don't see what he's trying to do in terms of how we build attacks, there's no discernible patterns.

The over reliance on both Bentancur and Palhinha at home (not tonight I know) has been a huge contributory factor to our lack of tempo and subsequently poor atmosphere in the stadium. If baffles me how he cant see this.

The players don't see him to have that run through walls attitude for him, to the contrary it looks like some don't even respect him.

And to cap it off I just don't enjoy watching us play (PSG away aside)

We're flat with no verve and little energy.

I don't think he's got the mindset, charisma or top tier coaching ability to drive this Club on .

Managers should be given time when you can see strong fundamentals in what they're trying to instill - and you'll accept indifferent results a long the way.

I don't see strong fundamentals with Frank.

Poch also said as much in his autobiography too. The infamous two windows without a transfer was because he was being offered players for the sake of signing players as opposed to players who would genuinely be of any use, so he chose no players.

Should take a trip to Copenhagen and steal their fleet yet again
Steal?? First known terrorist bombings of a city in history!!!

The Attack on Copenhagen in 1807 was a British bombardment that took place from 2 to 7 September during the Anglo-Dutch Wars. The British attacked the city to prevent the Danish fleet from falling into the hands of Napoleonic France. The attack, also known as the «Bombardment of Copenhagen», was one of the first terrorist bombings of a major European city, where the civilian population was the target. The bombardment led to extensive destruction, a large number of civilian casualties and the surrender of the Danish fleet.

Until the owners change their ways, the buck will always fall at the manager.
Let’s see what happens in Jan, under this new regime.
At this current rate of results tho, Frank won’t even last that long.
If the owners are serious about changing their ways they'd make a statement by sacking Levy's final managerial appointment on Monday morning and put a proven top manager in the job before embarking on a big transfer window in January.

If they plod along with Frank, that tells you all you need to know

Then you aren't a real Spurs fan. Sorry to break that to you buddy. It was absolutely EVERYTHING.

We will likely never know, but breaking the "spurs" tag and "trophy dodgger" shit was absolutely massive.

We lifted a trophy against all odds... Everyone had wrote us off! We had so many players out with so many freak injuries but we still did it!!

You'll remember that season in your old age than 95% of the others that have been before and will come after.

Please, stop being a simp and realise.

I will put your message down to short-term insanity.

Total bobbins!

Yes the Europa League win was glorious, but you’d have had to be blind not to see the shortcomings in our performances last season.

That was what Notabadsquad was getting at, so it’s pretty disingenuous to label him as ‘not a real Spurs fan’!

Cheers mate.

It's the THC effect I think!!!

We spent like the fifth most on transfer fees in world football during Ange's tenure here. IIRC, it was roughly €440m. The argument that he wasn't sufficiently backed is ludicrous.
🤣

Yeah... you keep believing that.

Backing the manager, isn't spunking money up the wall, on mediocre shit.

How many millions wasted on Solanke, Johnson, Tel, Odobert, Bentancur new contract, Vicario, and the rest of the shit we have got in recent years.
