XG suggests he is shit.

Worse than Ange.

Worse than anyone since records began.

Thomas Frank is currently the Sir Keir Starmer of football.
You took out the part of my post that shows there currently are mitigation factors.

If after those players are fit and available, nothing changes then sure.

I doubt the new board are thinking much different at the moment either.

Just means this season is gonna fcuking suck while we wait and see.

Had done his time in the PL at a lesser squad. Methodical, unflustered or so it seemed.

Functional and where he looked like he had players who knew what they were doing and respected him..

What else would we be looking for that wasn't a risk?

So for me it seemed a good choice, even if I said I liked Silva also.
But mate, is that really the best we could do?

The things you’ve listed there should be MINIMUM requirements to be considered for Tottenham Hotspur manager, they should not be factors that make you the “clear first choice”, as Levy and Vinai stated Frank was.

So lets see if I got this right

Players don't like Frank
Frank doesn't like fans
Fans don't like players
Players don't like Fans
Fans dont like Frank

What a fucking mess this club is.

What an unlikeable bunch of absolute fannies we have.

Are they wanting applauded off and for us to be grateful for how hard they’ve tried after watching shite performance after shite performance for the last 2 and a half years?

Sums up the current generation, entitled little cunts.

He’s been threatening this kind of thing for a while though. He oozes an erratic bozo energy.

Yes but he's also the only reason we aren't already in 17th (or lower) because of the points saving saves he's made this season.

Spurs fans booing arguably our best performed player this season is depressingly on point for the general direction of travel...

I think the scrolling generation (as I call them) are a different breed.

Very entitled 🙄

Eh he’s been dodgy on other goals and the discussion has been ongoing for a while. You say ‘spurs fans’ - mate his rep outside the club is awful, he’s viewed as one of the worst and a calamity.

He also reacts like a spoiled child when he concedes and tries to blame others. His attitude reeks. There’s a core of players at this club who think they’re entitled to unconditional support - you might get that at a lower league team but not with your wages, boys.

He's not my cup of tea but I say again with confidence : he's arguably our best performed player this season. Along with Mickey (who should have given away a penalty with a very rash tackle at 0-2 mind you - so also capable of brain fades as well as match saving moments)

I'm very happy to upgrade once we've upgraded all the other parts of the fucking catastrophe that is our squad...

I think he’s an incredibly unstable keeper. He inspires no confidence in the back four & imo has a toxic attitude and now relationship with the fans. He may well become a priority.

He’s a very good shot stopper but that’s just one facet of a keepers game. He’s not a dominant presence physically, his handling is sketchy, he’s not a good leader or communicator by all accounts.

He makes me jittery watching from home, even when he’s on a run of no mistakes. God knows how the defenders feel.

Yes and then put in Kinksi who is, for me, the epitome of what the ideal keeper should look like - confident on the ball, distribution, turning defence into attack - always looking to get the team going.

Then he'll let a half-hearted shot from an angle dribble in at his near post and you're reminded very very quickly of what a goalkeeper's primary fucking function is: STOPPING SHOTS.

This is such a nonsense discussion - I've stipulated that I share your doubts and concerns but the simple fact is we have much more important areas of the squad to fix first. Vicario is at least elite in one aspect (the most important) of his job. When we've signed a midfield who can pass I'll get round to debating replacing Vicario. Until that time I'd suggest we refrain from booing him in stadium because if HE starts leaking shots rather than somehow saving them like he has been this year, we are going to get fucking relegated.

Nah I just want to point and laugh at you and the others calling for Franks head when it ultimately makes zero difference....

This is what this club has me resort to...

There are only two things going to turn this club round, about 150 million on two top players in Jan and another 150 million on another two in the summer.
Plus getting rid of all the bad eggs in the dressing room which we have a load of
Yes money helps but we have spent £150M already on 3 wide players none of whom start : Johnson , Wilson and Tel. All 3 are crap in general so it’s not just money. Also surely we have enough quality to beat wolves and Fulham at home? Do teams like Brighton , Brentford, Sunderland , Bmouth etc have more expensive players than we do? Have they spent anything like we have. Have a manager the club selected after a thorough selection process and whittled it down to Frank. Are we not capable of beating any of these teams listed above with this so called tactician of a coach and players the club deemed worth spending shit loads of money on? If the players are crap now then they were same as under Ange who got booted bcos he was crap. Frank is meant to take these players work on them and take them to next level as he is so good at doing that we are told.
