The funny thing is that you want to use our worst manager in the Prem era as a reference point, yeah okay you go ahead with that argument lmao

Everyone knows you know fuck all about football man, just continue posting your gifs and play your position on here and let the adults talk amongst themselves.
You got your pants pulled down after making another bullshit post needlessly attacking another member, old chap 😂

Just man up and own it for once.,yeah

There's a reason you're the least respected poster on the forum. One day you'll understand what it is

:angehug:

Discipline in the camp is pretty bad, what with Porro's post, our players refusal to clap our fans, Spence and VDV dismissing Frank and our general body language of our players it's not looking good.

And I don't know if Frank is the man to sort it out.

I thought Paulinho was the number 6 we needed. Everyone said if Ange had him we would have been a completely diff team. His average at best makes a few tackles, mos times a lot and never really spots danger in and around our box. His play when he has the ball is non league at times. Has no pace to get back when get caught on transistion.
Palinha would have been awfully out of place in an Ange team. He's a solid loan signing for the kind of team Frank wants to be. Can't be blaming fans for wanting players or getting hopes up over a signing. These mis-steps are on the club, constantly getting it wrong with players, not really understanding the sport, the players we have and the players we need.

I'm as bored by the constant references to Ange as anybody else, even though I've been guilty of mentioning him too since the weekend's shambolic performance.
I think people are getting themselves wound up too much by a references to Ange. He was our previous manager so it's only natural comparisons are gonna be drawn.
Reminds me of when people used to cry every time they 'L' word appeared in the transfer thread.
You should feel no guilt for using the 'A' word in this or any other thread, mate.

I don't know what the answer is.

Sacking yet another manager after only giving him 6 months sounds ludicrous. Why would any manager want to come if that is what they get?

Iraola - His play is not dissimilar to Ange, it's very kung-ho football. He benefits from one game a week currently, and still loses matches. Our fanbase would eat him alive if he blew a 2-0 lead away at Sunderland, or got smashed 4-0 away at Villa.

Glasner - I like him, and he improves players. Plays a back 3 so likely to need time (which our fans don't give) to implement it. He's out of contract in the summer and already looks unhappy. Has European pedigree, but would need time.

Not seen anything really of Italiano, so won't judge.

Frank - I think he has the makings of a top manager, but he needs time. It's stupid to constantly judge managers 6 months in, especially when this his first job at a genuine big club. Going from one game a week to sometimes 3. Yes he needs to adapt his games and stop worrying about the opposition more than our own style, but I don't think sacking and hoping the next manager works is the answer. It certainly hasn't been for the past 15 years.

I notice the gap between in and out is closing by the hour. It'll soon be on a knife edge.
Probably accelerated by his disrespectful comments aimed at our match going fans as much as the results and performances.

You keep sanctimoniously bringing this up as if we didn't all have the best fucking night and loved every minute. I don't give a fuck who we beat - we won a fucking trophy and it's one of the best moments of my Spurs-supporting life.

But equally, in the cold light of morning as adults some of us are capable of taking a step back and looking objectively at the quality of the opposition and what winning that trophy meant as a measure of where we are as a club. By talking about the teams we beat we're not taking away from the joy and glory of the win - we're just stating facts.
I blocked him for this reason.

Absolute waster of a man.

He may have accelerated his P45 as well.
He needs to have a look at himself, no identity, can't defend or attack with any purpose.
Unless something dramatic happens, he looks a dead man walking.

Not sure if its purely coincidence Glasner slaming club over transfer activity. He wants out imo and used palace as a stepping stone. If Frank cant address the slide next couple of games then we should go for Glasner. Me personally I want poch back.
On the plus side, if Glasner was our manager, he could probably fix it so we don't have to pay royalties on playing that lovely tune 'Can't Smile Without You' in the Stadium?
