There were some similar reports last week about Frank so it's ramping up now where our coward of players will end up getting him sacked.
I have seen nothing to say he shouldn't be sacked but I really do hate a lot our players

When u get on the wrong train , get off at the next stop . Time to cut our losses , we are worse than last year , defensively a shambles and barely test opposition keepers , just wish I could suggest an alternative - that’s probably the only thing keeping him in the job .

Haha this is mental. Only clowns would want him back. He had us 17th. What we are seeing this season is a continuation of what Ange did to us in the league last season. There's an argument to say Ange caused it.

Two bits of evidence for this

Our terrible home form started under Ange. It's never been this bad before his appointment.
His stint at Forest showed that having Ange as your manager in the PL is basically accepting you'll lose every game. He's tactically clueless.

Appointing Ange again after finishing 17th would honestly be the biggest lauging stock decision in the history of football. I don't think anything would come close to it. If people are laughing at us now, just imagine what would happen if we decided to bring him back as manager after his disgraceful Forest stint where even Sean Dyche has made Ange look a clown. Sean Dyche!

And what deluded juice are you drinking to think the players would respond to Ange coming back? The same players who lost every game to finish 17th? Hahaha
We’re only a point from 15th and Frank has had a full defence available unlike Ange.

Can’t go back to Ange so let’s forget that. Glasner would be good but would he want to come or hold out for another job? Newcastle or even Liverpool

The classic 'sources close to the club' is unverified bollocks, it's easy to write stuff like this as a journo because it's fucking obvious that the players look confused because we'r not playing well.

You are correct that it is unverifiable, but so are all stories of this nature. Doesn't change the fact that when these stories appear, the manager usually ends up sacked not long after. In addition to that, even we have both agreed that it looks like the players are not buying into Frank on the pitch.

The journalist in question is followed by Ornstein, Romano, Michael Bridge, Charlie Eccleshare, and our own Ally Gold. To say he just made it up seems unlikely to me.

True enough, but it could be just as easily true ...

I mean the second I saw VDV and Spence shunt him after Chelsea (4 weeks ago) I knew this would happen and he wouldn't last

Couldn't believe people were staying storm in a tea cup.

I mean it probably is but it doesn't mean players are going off running to the press, the source could be anyone in the club, could be the fucking groundsman for all we know lol

Do you still speak to your mate Trix, what's his input these days?

He can deal with it to a degree by dropping them.

Player power is ridiculous but he can show them who is boss to an extent. Drop those not pulling their weight. Play the kids. The fringe players. Explain it to the fans.

If we see fight on the pitch we will get it.

Then players will either buck up or fuck off.

To be fair, last season they didn’t have any so it’s understandable.
When you have Vic launching it to the opposition, its no wonder they struggle to understand Frank's brilliant tactics

Both shithole, provincial outposts

If he came to us he wouldn't even need to move house, re-school his kids, or learn a new language.

No brainer, as they say

I fail to see how this could be true considering he never had this problem with his players at Brentford.
And probably made up for clicks.

Stories like this always come out when a team is losing matches, especially when they are also playing very badly.

You don’t need to read an article to see that the players do not enjoy their work at the moment, it’s very clear from what we see on the pitch. Managers with a profile like Frank need to hit the ground running when they get a chance at a big club. If you don’t convince people straight away you are likely to go the way of Moyes, Potter, Nuno etc.

Brentford doesn’t have the same expectations as Tottenham, Brentford don’t have a World Cup winner as club captain. Brentford didn’t win the Europa League. Brentford don’t have a £1bn stadium. It’s a completely different environment, based on humility and aspirational thinking rather than an expectation that they compete at the top end. It’s not possible to compare Brentford and Tottenham.

It's like what happened at United early this year. Players were trying to get him sacked, board told them to piss off and pound sand, he's staying, and suddenly a bunch of them looked like they cared again. Maybe it's not so surprising that two of our best players this year (Kudus and Palhinha) are new.

Frank should drop anyone whining to the media or otherwise complaining. We should actually try getting behind a competent manager, let him clear out the deadwood, and try to build something here instead of another early sacking because some players got pissy.
