I think it's premature because we're on the same points as Newcastle and only 3 points behind Liverpool. Also only 3 points behind Man U, which many would say are actually having a pretty good season.

If he's sacked, it would be more about how boring his football is. But everyone knew what Brentford played like.

We can afford giving him a chance to fix things. But if we start getting closer to relegation, we should act swiftly.

That we're a top 5 team is really not true though. Not with those players.

We're also only 1 point off 15th , and the actual quality of the football and xg suggests it's more likely we'll continue to trend downward

If United are poor what does that make us? We were arguably better than them last season despite finishing just below them. We beat them 4 times after all.

So far this season though they look to have improved, whereas we seem to have gone backwards.

If Amorim is starting to turn things round there, then maybe that's an argument for sticking with a manager rather than sacking them off at the first sign of poor form.

I don't think he's turned around anything yet, but they look improved somewhat. Spending 200 million across their frontline will do that though.

As for us, the results have nosedived. If Frank is to get the season he'll have to improve results one way or another, to at least a semi acceptable level.

We carry on losing every week there's only one outcome.

I think the other issue is we just play dull football. So that would need to change if he's to be successful long term here.

Fans won't pay those ticket prices to watch this week in week out without having strong opinions about what's happening ( or not happening)

We finished 17th last season, and this season we've had no Kulu, Madders, Solanke or Son.

It's still better than what Ange did, and we gave him all the time in the world. After having to live through that, I don't mind letting Frank stay until the end of the season. At least he's no Ange, and who knows, maybe he does need a bit of time. He should be given the chance.

It’s a mentality issue more than anything else.

We should have at least gotten a draw against PSG, we smash Man City no matter how good they are and normally beat United but the second we play a derby or any team that likes a physical match we seem to fall apart. There is a softness at the club that only briefly left under Poch and Redknapp.

Changing a culture takes time. The club for good and bad is a reflection of Levy. In 3-5 years it will become a reflection of the Lewis kids and whatever they might be.

It's not.

It's a quality issue.

Playing Chelsea and Woolwich so close together has exposed how far off it this group is.

Reece James and Declan Rice are at the age & level Kane and Son once were for Spurs.

We have no players in that bracket now.

VDV could get there but I doubt he will do that in a Spurs shirt under Thomas fucking Frank.

He will have to leave Spurs on the same well trodden path of Carrick, Modric, Berbatov, Bale and Kane if he wants to get to that level.

Levy has absolutely fucking killed us with his wage constraints and selling the best players rather than building on them.

Only the wankers stay in the long run because they can't do any / much better than Spurs and the shitty level Levy pitched us at for 24 years.

What Poch achieved was a fucking miracle under the constraints placed upon him by the cunt Levy.

Sunderland took 4 points off those team btw...

Have to laugh at the "United have turned it around" takes. They were 45 minutes away on Sunday from being behind us in the table. Meanwhile, we are apparently in full blown crisis and relegation candidates.

Fickle, fickle.

100% get the man back, fuck ENIC off - he cared about this football club!

Because those teams underestimated them and they’re a surprise package. Both Woolwich and Chelsea play us with full focus. Acheampong and Guiu started vs Sunderland & the stadium of light rocked Woolwich. Our stadium is dour - these guys are just happy to be here.

We’re a top 6 name with top 6 team wages but none of that actual quality and none of the plucky spirit or togetherness of a Sunderland either.

And it looks like we could easily finish 17th again , we lost those 4 but added Xavi, Muani, Palhinha and Kudus.
As well as having VDV, romero readily available so far.

Zero excuses for Frank, it's been unacceptable. Results I can handle , the trash performances I can not

I'm sure he'll get to the end of the season which he should probably. But I'm not optimistic of him implementing any kind of cohesive decent football

The results aren’t as bad as they seem, only 6 points separate us from 3rd, and the whole league is incredibly competitive this season.

That said, getting a result against Newcastle is crucial. If we lose there, it could mark the beginning of the end for Frank, especially if he struggles to string together 2-3 wins in a row after that game.

My target for this season was 65 points and top 8 so there’s still room for trial and error.

Let’s not forget, this same team finished 17th last year. I don’t understand why we're acting like they've suddenly got some sort of actual standards to live up to, lol.
