So how much more worse does Frank have to be than Nuno before he deserves the sack too?

It's weird to me that one manager gets the sack for poor league form, and another manager has worse form and isn't sacked.

Make it make sense without pretending that Conte was going to join on game week 11 regardless of Nuno's performance, as others seem to have stated on here.
Levy was here then and isn't now.
We hadn't just finished 17th when Nuno took over
We still had a Kane and Son axis to lean on.
Conte was available.

All reasons why Nuno was sacked, IMO.

Seen enough already. He hasn’t a fucking clue. Doesn’t know his best team and the players don’t seem to understand how to attack. They’re not great but they’re not this bad. It’s on him. Made my mind up. Out

But what is this “ New Philosophy “ .

I don’t really understand modern tactics; and it beats me .

At least under Ange we had See Spot Run talking us through it .

How radically different is TF’s system that it takes our players 6 months plus to even have a clue how to enact it .

Genuine question to those who understand modern football tactics.
It's about cohesion; learning new patterns, understanding new roles, and creating personal relationships on the pitch. When 22+ players have to find chemistry in a new system, it will take some time. Especially, when the outcome, both in terms of play and results, isn't coming right away. That can lead to further distrust in the system, which in turn can lead to things taking even more time - or not working at all.

I hope that won't be the case. Nevertheless, it's not fair to judge Thomas Frank's success based on a few months. If we had lost every single match, then maybe, but as things stand, we have to give him some more time.

Time to go.

This just isn’t working, we know, he knows it, the players know it, the opposition know it, the fucking board should know it too.

There’s zero point dragging this out any longer, he is the absolute antithesis of a Tottenham manager.

I'm all for giving you a fair chance, but you have to help yourself, buddy.

Subs should have been much earlier and Bents, Johnson, and Sarr should have been off already.

First shot on target came on 78th minute.

Let's not kid ourselves - what we see now is not at all better than what we saw at the end of Mourinho era.
I see no ideas, I see no progress from game to game.

Starting with Johnson again is just like reverting back to tried and failed solution. At the same time there was fresh Tel available who scored a good goal vs Manu. It all feel clueless and without logic.

And no.
2 CB goals do not change the big picture. All in all it still makes my eyes bleed.

Assuming that he's getting at least the next game with this late draw, it has to be played with a midfield and a frontline of something like this:

Bergvall-Simons
Odobert-Kudus-Tel
RKM

We have three midfielders with little to no ability to pass the ball forward in Sarr, Bentancur and Palhinha. None should be playing unless and until there's some kind of an improvement in our non-existent passing patterns. Put some kind of a framework in place first, and then try to fit those guys into that picture if you really can't do without them.

He has absolutely no reason to continue to cling on to his reactive managerial instincts that have taken him this far, as we've been terrible defensively for most of his time . That's 17 goals conceded in last 10 league games now, which would make 64 over the course of a 38 game league campaign.

If you want to know what this number actually means, I'll simply tell you that we conceded 65 last season.
