I’ve not read through these messages from last night because I know there will be people happy that we went there and got a draw so fair enough about that but last night was another really poor performance and we score from a brilliant diving header and a fantastic piece of opportunism from our centre back.

The first half was embarrassing and to see a stat come up on the screen to say to say we never had a shot on target in the first half in this game and the previous 3. I honestly can’t understand why this is still acceptable.

The second half wasn’t much better but we had to rely on our captain to pull us out the shit.

That result covers the cracks for me but how we play is relegation fighting teams that just come up from the championship. We can’t hide behind a 2-2 draw at Newcastle because we are t just going to cluck into gear gear and be a free flowing team that starts beating loads of chances. January window is massive and we need quality footballers not just guys that have energy. Fuck that energy shit because when they get the ball they just give it back.

Thomas Frank is not the man we should be giving money to spend in the window.

I like this post but the last line, man it baffles me when people say this, it doesn't matter who is in charge of the team, we need players anyway so if they play under Frank for now then so be it, if he gets the sack then they'll play under the next manager - that's how it's meant to work.

Should be.

Any time this kind of thing occurs we seem to end up witnessing a game where somehow the opposition comes flying out of the blocks whilst we're still half asleep, and then after 60 minutes our players looked totally gassed despite having done nothing of note, whilst the opposition go from strength to strength...

Just another one of those little things that has me more and more convinced every passing year that this club is simply jinxed.
I can't think of anytime we've come flying out of the blocks. Not in my memory, can't compute.

Yes mate, it's baffling.

I don't know or maybe conveniently can't recall the last time we were proverbially fast out of the blocks and creating chance after chance.

And on Saturday I won't be holding my breath for anything to change.

It befuddles the brain cells.

EBL loves Thomas Frank, only reason is because he's likened him to Arteta on numerous occasions (It's a pro Arse/Arteta account) and he has to keep up the charade of backing Frank and doubling down so his followers continue to hang onto his every word as if he's some tactico guru

If the league ended December 2nd.
And only away games counted.

We’d have won the league last night!!

Keep it up Tommy!!

I think if we lose on Saturday he'll be sacked.

An absolute sliding door moment for Frank ironically against his old Club.

But a win only buys him time

If he's to stay long term we need to see a performance - a positive attacking performance that we can build on, that's what will win the fans over.

If he doesn't have them up for it here, and setting up to really attack then he never will and it's a huge statement that he doesn't get the Club at all.

He won’t survive another home defeat Saturday
When he came in I had high hopes
It all looks a lost cause now unfortunately

You can't look at Spurs and think Frank's system works, except that it has worked in the Premier League with Brentford and it is scoring goals there even this season (they haven't changed much system wise). Logically, what's different with Spurs? At Brentford Frank had strong strikers, Mbeumo (who was good at linkup play, and Mikkel Damsgaard as a playmaking midfielder. Maybe it is as simple as that Frank's system needs three things to work that, at least for now, Spurs don't have. I suppose if you want to run Frank's system you have a better chance with strong players at those roles.
