You can't look at Spurs and think Frank's system works, except that it has worked in the Premier League with Brentford and it is scoring goals there even this season (they haven't changed much system wise). Logically, what's different with Spurs? At Brentford Frank had strong strikers, Mbeumo (who was good at linkup play, and Mikkel Damsgaard as a playmaking midfielder. Maybe it is as simple as that Frank's system needs three things to work that, at least for now, Spurs don't have. I suppose if you want to run Frank's system you have a better chance with strong players at those roles.
everything you write seems well considered, mature and correct. are you sure you are in the right forum?

The game on Saturday is huge. I said this last week about the Fulham game and it really couldn't have gone any worse. I think the Fulham game was the turning point where most fans realised that Frank probably isn't the right man and its only a matter of time before we move on. However, the Brentford game on Saturday might well be the nail in the coffin. The embarrassment of losing at home to his former club would be too much for anyone to tolerate. I think even Frank would be questioning himself if that happened.

Football is a funny game too. A win at home to Brentford followed by what should be a routine win at home to Slavia Prague then all of a sudden Frank and spurs have some momentum for the first time in weeks. There is still a chance that Frank can turn this around but it needs to start with a win this weekend!

lol reading his comments from today’s presser. He just seems a right knob.

He’ll give an update on Deki and Solanke when he has an update. Tel and Xavi apparently train well etc.

We replaced those missing players with players who should be as good. Kudus for Kulusevski, Simons for Maddison and Muani for solanke. They probably aren't as good bar Kudus but its still not an excuse for Frank.
Simons look like a flop. Muani just recently returned. Kudus was a good signing.

It would be nice to at least have Kulu and Solanke back to remove any doubts. I just don't see what we're gaining by sacking Frank this early. Unless we have some unusually good option for this stage in the season.

Agree, I said similar the other day, but he couldn’t have asked for a worse game.
