I've come to the conclusion that he's hopeless. I take no pleasure in saying that. We're stuck with him for now since there is no suitable alternative. It's just a shit show right now.

I'll admit I've barely watched a game this season because the football is so dull. However, looking at the squad on paper it lacks difference makers. So I'm not suprised its sat mid table.

The manager is prem proven and a good manager. Its the squad that is the problem. Midfield and Attack is below par in various positions.

I look back on Nuno's time and realise how far we've fallen.. There was that one disaster against Palace because of the red card.. But apart from that, we tended to take care of business in the "smaller games" pretty much. There was a feeling that games like Newcastle away, Wolves away, Villa at home, Watford at home were expected 3 points. Nuno got the sack based on the games against Chelsea, Woolwich and Man Utd.

The smaller games took care of themselves and a manager was judged on how we played in those big games. Which is how it should be at a club of our size.. Now, we live in a world where we lose 3-0 away at Forest. Drop points to the worst side we've seen in years in Wolves. Lose at home to Fulham etc.. And everyones carrying on like it's just business as usual. It's honestly a tragedy.

I kept on pausing it to double check what I'm seeing. Situations where we're off the ball and have 3 players wondering around somewhere in the middle, noone on the right, 2-3 players apparently marking someone else on the left. Just baffling positions.

This isn't what I expected from Frank, who seemed to pride himself on coaching formation and the tactical side of the game.

Don't want to say I told you so... but... I told you so. I think those saying this was a great hire were clinging to hope rather than looking at the data. There is a reason Chelsea chose a Championship manager and United went for Amorim. Both interviewed Frank. Both said no thank you. If you want to finish 12th or 13th with the 2nd/3rd smallest budget in the league and your fans don't mind shite football then Franks your man. Anything more than that then you better look elsewhere. Today will hopefully move him closer to the exit door as this was a disgusting and gutless performance against a team who had two days less to prepare.

The first sentence gives it all away. I’ve watched every torturous minute of every match. There are no tactics. There is no plan. He has no idea.

Yes, the squad is deficient. But so is the manager.

Remember at the beginning of the season when Paulhinha was tearing it up and we were all so happy we got him and worried he might get injured because we would need him in every match?

Well, all I see now is regression, same for Porro, Spence, Berg, Kudus etc. What one player did Frank improve?

I think Enic need to act. Levy was involved in bringing Frank to the club, the appointment is the final link to a largely failed footballing regime. If the Lewis family want to start afresh they need to bring in a manager of their choice.

So utterly predictable, we are unbelievably bad but what do you expect when you hire the Brentford manager with the way he had them playing.

This was obviously an awful appointment from the start, akin to hiring david moyes, except I think Moyes would have us higher.

I can't believe anyone thought this would work.

Fuck off Thomas Wank
Hardly anyone on here wanted him....that is, before it became obvious that's who we were getting.
Then everyone started talking up the appointment as exactly what we needed and shouting down any of us who saw it for what it was.................A cheap, uninspiring easy option that would temper the expectations of the fan base.

Our fans really do behave weirdly at times.

This is where I am. We already have a reputation for abandoning managers and not having a clear vision, so unless we actually find ourselves in the relegation zone (we won't) he'll have until the summer.

Realistically what manager would even want to join us before then anyway? We have to wait that long at a minimum if the return of Poch were to materialise. Probably some headaches with that too given the World Cup ends on July 20th - very little preseason if he did come (and he'd have to be in contact re: transfer targets in advance).

Very nervous about what we do in January. We need good signings not Frank-specific ones.

We've gone from Ange managing us like we were the best team in the world to Frank managing us like we're Brentford.

Opposite approaches and both deeply flawed.

Frank needs to go but there's not much point in that happening until the summer because who the fuck else are we going to bring in now?
That's what we do. We go from one extreme to another as we don't have a coherent plan. Who knows where we go next. If there was a big name available I'm confident that's what we would go for now, similar to how Conte was a get out of jail-card after we sacked Nuno. No one like that seems to be available though so who knows what we will do, all I know is that it will be another shitshow.
