I was hopeing for more from Frank, Why keep playing Richie as a CF ? he's the only CF we have,well maybe change the system and play without a CF
why hasn't he figured out how to get the best from BJ ( no he isn't a good player, but he can score easy goals)
Why hasn't spence been coached to kick with his left foot (just control and pass with his left would help)
we have lots of midfield runners so why not play with no Cf and 5 midfielders (anything for a change )

The thing is that he wasnt cheap......he is on a massive salary, the compensation to get him and his staff out of Brentford was huge too and to sack him him will be even more money down the plug hole

There's plenty of suitable alternatives. It's just needs the club to show some balls and ambition to convince them that this is a football club that's serious about challenging for the major honours.

But he'd be cheap long term was their thinking. He wasn't Conte or Jose who'd make demands every summer. He was always going to behave himself and toe the line while the club keeps throttling the wage bill.

The quality of the league has increased massively even from Nuno's time here. Clubs like Forest, Palace, Sunderland, etc., were free points for a top six side back then. Now that they all have money and the pull of the Prem, they can attract top quality players from other leagues and put up a fight.

Yep, and then we'll buy players for that manager, he'll get sacked because he has a Frakenstein squad full of players who down tools at the first sign of adversity, and we'll be back at square one the next summer. What's the definition of insanity again?

So Frank is responsible for Bentancur not being able to make a simple 5 yard pass, Porro blasting his crosses beyond all the players in the box or out for a goal kick, Billy Big Bollocks Spence giving the ball away and then not giving a fuck to chase the ball down etc etc,

We’re paying the price for poor recruitment and journeymen players that would rather accept a loss and collect their fat pay cheques rather than put in a shift and win.

Too many poor attitudes from players that are content with losing.

There was fear, respect, charisma, and obviously a cracking CV...
FRANK has none of those...

Even if we got all THREE in as a dream team, we'd find a way to fuck it up,
 
He's not going to last. The players just aren't giving their all.

If someone like Alonso becomes available we'd be mad not to go for him.

Either way I'd be amazed if Frank's given another season.

We just don't attack competently at all.

It doesn't take much foresight to see the squads poor. The captain is a real issue Bentancur contract extension poor, Vicario bang average, Porro disaster class, Spence never coached to be a rightback. Richarlison ( finished as a EPL forward) There's loads of terribly obvious issues. We were also warned Frank has NEVER fixed things quickly. If we wanted that we shouldn't have got him.

Been saying it for months, you can't just flip the switch and care about bad league performances overnight. Ange established a culture and mentality in this club that losing every week in the league isn't a big deal. It's going to take years to clean out that rotten mentality, and unfortunately, Frank might not be the man to do it.

I mean what the fuck even is that decision all about?

Sarr, Tel, Bergvall, Odobert, Johnson sitting on the bench and he chooses Davies and Palhinha to come on.

That decision right there makes me think that he himself doesn't believe he's up to the job and rather than try and change it for a win, he was just trying to stop it getting embarrassing.


I'm still shocked by those subs
