I think he's here until the end of the season purely because there is nobody else who is decent enough for our ambitions and stupid enough to take it

The evolution of Thomas Frank if he somehow lasts the season

We either get a response against Liverool (not optimistic) or we get well beaten and he's gone.

I don't really think it matters. Even if we get a result against Liverpool it's just buying time.

The most concerning issue is you just can't see what he's trying to do other than pump it up the wings and a ping a few crosses in.

We're still conceding the same types of goals and he doesn't inspire confidence and the players look flat.

There's literally no improvement at all.

It's a question of when not if.

Dyche outcoaching Frank in less time is seriously not a good look, he's preaching that he needs time but how much time has Dyche had?

Im teetering

Still in atm but not seeing any patterns of play at all is very concerning

At the same time the players are just fucking shite IMO they have got multiple managers the sack now.

Weirdly we need someone of the Conte ilk IMO proven winner and just need to give them the keys and say here's the budget spend how ya want get rid of who you want.

Just very depressing

Dyche is a good manager though. He's spent most of his career being given a budget smaller than you'd get on universal credit and being judged for not tikitakka'ing his way to a cup win.

Not like Burnley have been anywhere near since he got the push

I am not sure about that but I do think Dyche has more presence about him.

Today was inexplicable but let's not seek for any moment to suggest Forest were that good. They weren't. Bang average in fact.

What we saw today from us was a performance that beggars belief, and was poor before the concession of the first goal and then had nobody who was able to calm us down and bring us back into an eminently winnable game.

It was so bad as to defy logic.

He's good but how is he able to get a tune out of his players in 2 months when our manager is still trying to find his best team in 4 months?

Whilst I think Frank could be doing better, I don't lay everything that is wrong down to him, he isn't a miracle worker.

You sack Frank and you have the same issues with another manager.

For me, the reality of this is we are a team that finished 17th last season losing how many games in total? We are where we are for a reason imo. It's going to be one of those seasons I think.

The Champions League run this season is just papering over cracks, we should never be there in the first place. Also, let's be honest the premier League is mostly tougher than the Champions League fixtures.

IF I was to choose another manager it would be Poch after the World Cup next summer, he is the only manager I believe that would be given any time plus a better style of football.

I think Frank is a good manager but that doesn’t make him the right manager for Tottenham. I think the same about Moyes, Dyche etc. There has to be a synergy between the club, players, fans and the manager in terms of the football vision and that simply isn’t there. We need to see something on the pitch that we can believe in and there’s just nothing there.

I don’t enjoy watching this team, we can only win well against rusty/shite opponents. When there’s any serious resistance or effort to disturb us we have no answer. None. To have multiple matches with xG close to 0 is completely unacceptable and shows that there’s something fundamentally wrong.

Frank is an intelligent man but he’s clearly wedded to ideas that do not work and the players don’t enjoy playing for him. That couldn’t be more obvious. He needs to completely reinvent his idea of football or he will be sacked before Christmas, that I’m even saying that means he’s pretty much a dead man walking. If your fundamental idea of football doesn’t work then there isn’t much point continuing, same as with Ange. A leopard can’t change its spots.

I accept that we have a mediocre squad but I refuse to believe that there isn’t a manager out there that would make this team more dangerous and harder to beat.

I don't think you have the same issues, necessarily, with another manager.

Because they bring fresh impetus, different ideas and an all round different managerial presence and affect that the players potentially respond differently to.

Don't get me wrong I think you'd be right, but how long would a bounce last for?

I don't think Frank is a bad manager but what he got at Brentford was time, something managers unfortunately do not get anymore.

Most people were happy with his appointment, I don't lay all the blame down to him and for me it's too simplistic to think that.

We are seriously hampered by a lack of CF and a decent LW. The ball just keeps coming back.
