Not to revist our earlier conversation, but I feel like the "act" will need to be at the manager level first.

Our issues seem so fundamental Im not sure what a signing will do for us, even if it is on Jan 1st.

Which isnt to deny we obviously need players as well.

He's the manager, he is going to have a huge say. The final say basically.

So it is concerning if he starts prioritising physical players and we end up blowing all the cash on Frank's targets and then he leaves anyway.

Ive no doubt he gets to say "need a certain position/profile" but how far that goes towards what we actually buy - Ive no idea personally

crystal Palace
Villa
Sunderland
Bournmouth
Brentford
Burnley
Dortmund
Frankfurt

Is considered brutal for us these days. Apart from Liverpool January should be a bloody cake walk.

How far we have fallen were now I couldn't be sure we'd beat Burnley away

It's more the turnaround and the schedule not the actual opponents.

It's brutal because we have to be let down by the club 8 times in January (9 if you count the transfer window) compared to only 4 times in February.
