Hate the guy all you like.

But the dishonesty and lack of grace, to ignore what you've just seen after going down to 10 and not applaud how he dealt with that game and how the players are obviously invested in him and believe in his approach -- brightly demonstrated by their efforts tonight -- is just disgusting.

Some of you cunts make me fucking sick.
Think it showed he’s got no control of the players if anything. Like a substitute teacher. They probably don’t mind him because they can walk all over him. Doesn’t look like they respect him though. Even after games they don’t even look at him when he goes over to them.

Mid-table garbage would actually be good.

We are more or less relegation standard. After a new manager bounce of sorts winning 3 of first 4 league games, we've won 3 out of last 13. We have 13 points from those 13 games and that's even tailing off. Over last 8 games, its just 5 points from 24 and 1 win from those 8 at home to Brentford.
It's just absolutely shocking.

I think he was actually really close to getting it to work today. If Simons had not seen early red I think we would have gone on to win it.

Playing Bergvall and Gray around a base CDM of Benta or Palh is definitely the way going forward, especially without proper LW/CAM depth.

Our LW was a mess of course, but Liverpool themselves are not a balanced side right now. We seemed to have the initiative and more dangerous chances.

Overall I blame Simons and especially the poor refereeing for the loss today. Frank I thought got the tactics more right than usual, almost optimal in fact, and so gets a pass from me today. The only choice I think he could have made better was to start Odobert or Richy at LW instead of Xavi.

The praise ange got here for losing 4-1 to Chelscum down to 9 yet Frank getting pelters for losing 2-1 and being the better team for 80% of the game.
Im no big fan of frank but fucking hell blaming this one on him is a bit much

The wider point here is that looking good against this Liverpool side is not really an achievement.

One of the worst sides we've faced this season. All over the shop.

What did you think of our performance after going a man down?

One inspired by a passive manager?

Do you not see him on the sideline every game frantically instructing the players?

What are we actually doing here, people?
Come on mam.
You're a top poster but surely you can see this was a shocking, awful appointment for Tottenham Hotspur.
He offers absolutely nothing. Nothing...Brentford was his level.

If we could maintain some consistency in deploying this formation, I think we could really grow into and get some good results. Thomas isn't just changing tactics, he's changing players positions radically from game to game. For me this is a very obvious problem that prevents us from spending enough time to develop familiarity and improve execution.

I can't believe how many people are trying to talk up that performance.

It was shambolic.

We barely layed a glove on them, one of the worst Liverpool sides to turn up here in a decade.

Our best chance was a deflected Muani shot on to the bar?

People trying to talk it up really are scraping the barrell.

It was fucking diabolical. And the whole lack of discipline is exactly what you see from a team when the manager has lost the plot.

Players getting sent off for pathetic kicks and fouls. WTF was Romero doing? He's the captain.

We are in freefall.

Any half decent side beat that Liverpool side comfortably today, not us though, utter shit.

Frank has to go.

When he joined; his flexibility was heralded as a virtue....

Not at the expense of a stable, underlying philosophy and structure though.

We still can't be said to have specific formation and tactic, even now, can we?

To not be able to say that and we are almost halfway through the season is a screaming red flag for me. Frank needs to stick with something so that our players have a structure to grow onto. He seems to be zeroing in on the optimal tactic and player suitability, finally, but he is in serious danger of running out of time right now. Our performances must be improved or action must be taken to replace him. We can't afford to be relegated. We'd probably never get out again given our utterly gutless exec/board and cursed existence.
