Brentford is a completely different club to Tottenham. Just because his ideas were effective there doesn’t mean they will translate here, it was the same with Nuno. Clearly a decent manager but not the right fit for a club that expects to play progressive football.

But no doubt the fundamental problem is a lack of football vision and knowledge at the higher levels of the club. That’s how you end up spending hundreds of millions on average players and hiring managers that can’t do the job.

I sympathise with Frank on the lack of quality available to him but as has been mentioned above, when your players spend so much time pointing, standing still, hesitating, there’s clearly something seriously wrong. It shouldn’t be this hard to get out of our half but we make it look impossible.
Lack of quality... he's got 25 full internationals available to him. Many from tier 1 countries. They are not playing anywhere near their talent levels and potential. That is on the manager.

Currently on pace for ~50 points. I think there will be an uptick in form and we'll get 60ish when Dom and Kulu are back from injury.

60 points this season will be enough for top 8, which is more or less the goal. Need to pick up a result at Palace though.

Top 8 the goal??? Are you serious???
The goal should be top 4/5 every season. Anything less is failure and should be treated as such.

We finished 17th and with 38 points last season. It was salvaged from total disaster with the Europa, but you seriously downplay the severity of that.

If we finish 8th, nobody is sacking Frank for climbing 9 places in the table

When are kulu and solanke back btw?
They didn't a concrete time line for either. Just vaguely saying they're doing better

I keep reading comments saying he's a nice man but he's had two pops at fans in last month "true fans" and "loyal fans". Not seeing this nice man bit coming through. He's massively underperforming and all he's done is point in the finger of blame on fans. Take some fucking ownership of how shit you have done in your role.

I’d like Frank to be a little more annoyed when we lose.
After yet another loss at home yesterday he started off his post match talk with: “First and foremost I’m extremely proud of the players and the team”. He seemed quite pleased with everything….

There was context around 17th which you are choosing to ignore and are treating it like a new norm. Why not look at the season before when we finished 5th with a squad inferior to our current squad. I loathe anyone who uses last season as a reason to excuse Frank for the shit show being served up every week. Just fuck off, the lot of you... and take Frank with you.

Last couple of managers at least the supporters chanted their names at certain points during their tenures, it's something that helps to solidify the team behind the manager, I suspect Frank has fucked up any chance of that happening for him.

We saw this with Nuno also: For a manager, moving up is not solely a matter of adapting to new demands of a bigger club that barely exist at lower levels. There's also no guarantee for things that he and his teams were good at at the lower level to scale up smoothly.

Nuno's Wolves and Forest teams were always among the most compact ones in the league, yet when he was here we had that Woolwich game among others where the midfield was wide open the entire time. He not only struggled to get us to play front foot football, but also lost his strengths in the process of trying to implement a style that doesn't come naturally to him.

That's what I see happening with Frank as well. It's otherwise inexplicable for us to concede what is now 22 goals in last 13 league games with an almost fully healthy back 5, with a manager that was supposed to be good at this. Or to be 17th in fast breaks, defined by OPTA as this:

A team like West Ham are 5th and Brentford are 7th in this for example. Make of that what you will.

There's narratives in the media which are backed up by the betting websites that Brendan Rodgers is a name in the hat should Frank get sacked soon.

I'd like Frank to fuck off and take his back room cunts with him. Put Matt Wells in charge or bring Mason back. Anything is better than the current dumpster fire.

In his first press conference he said the only thing he can guarantee is that we will lose games.
This looks like a major red flag the longer this experiment with Brentfords Graham Potter goes on.
