I don't believe any of our managers have much of a say in who we sign and that goes back to Poch days.
I don't believe that "you can have Kudos or nobody" constitutes choice tbh.

I think its high time Lange & or Paratici take some of the flack for the absolute duds we are buying though

Rubbish. He should be able to manage the squad with the players he has at his disposal far better than he is.

BTW The 3 key players in Maddison, Solanke and Kulu were all criticized at various times in the last two years. Them returninig isn't going to result in a fundamental change in how Frank sets up and plays his football.

Well he has us in 12th half way through with no Kulu, Solanke or Madders so when he gets some attacking players back from the physio room and hopefully gets given a couple in this transfer window then I think you are going to have to scrape a big load of egg off your mush.

Think that's 100% true of the Palace game. People have moaned about our lack of possession but I do think that was fully intentional - almost any team can have more than 40% possession against Palace if they want to. And while it was an uninspiring performance, if you take away their space and give them the ball Palace are far less threatening.

We recently beat Brentford playing a much better style, though - I don't think we had to go that negative today. The amount of times we punted it to Rich who just flopped like a concussed salmon into Ajer as he comfortably mopped up another header was depressing to say the least.

This! Non will come back in any great shape or form this season! I doubt we see madders, I bet Kulu is still a few months away and who knows with Dom.

Frank’s done IMO. Can’t see any green shoots or idea of what he wants. Can’t be proud of a clean sheet when you’re fielding 8 defenders to gain it, eventually you need to be brave and impose your will on sides. He simply cannot and can’t do it!

We have half a season left and still touching distance or a respectable finish, I do not see what he has done to deserve being given another £100m or so.

Also he said tonight before the game that he would have started Bergvall but he wasn't available. Presumably that would have been for Paulinha so I don't think Bents & Paulinha is his "preferred choice" at all tbh.

Do you honestly think Frank has a say in when players are loaned out or returned from loan?

I remember the goal now that you've linked it. Good goal. /shrug AND?

I think you are living in the past when managers managed everything. Personally I would love to fuck off Lange and Paratici and return to those days. But we aren't in those days. Frank is just a coach, he doesn't get involved in getting players back from loan. It boggles my mind that you think he's involved in that.

it is true what hes saying tho, we have shit options going forward, you build from the back first. at least he is acknowledging how poor we are going forward. on paper the last two results are positive and 2 clean sheets. sunderland will be a test, at least he has bergvall back for sunderland. would be nice to get either a CM or winger before then, even a LB.

Just can't see anyone good wanting to play for us, under Frank for shit wages.
 
If they don't back him in January he's got a tough road to walk .
He doesn't seem to have any idea what his best team is , chops and changes players and positions ad hoc , a smart 20mins gets you a start next game etc , a quiet couple of games gets you an extended break .
Doesn't have any grasp of what subs to utilize to change a game up .
All a bit vanilla , and I was happy with his appointment .
Serious buyers regret for me now .
