Tel has done the square root of fuck all since he arrived!

Hmm a very quick fact check actually shows he has 2 goals in 12 League appearances this season with very little minutes
That's more than odobert who has considerabley more appearances and minutes , more than murani , and the same goal output as Kudus who plays every game

So no not technically the square root of fuck all after all.
Fact checking! :angesmile2:

Xavi has only operated at Barca and his time was mixed, some Barca fans loved it, some didn't. Much bigger gamble than Poch or Alonso in my view.

Alonso be a gamble too imo, that Germany thing could've been a one off.
The lack of goals from a Madrid side that has mbappe, vinicius, rodyrigo, Bellingham and Diaz is odd.

The only thing that would be a dead cert for us honestly is to give a half decent manager a billion spend

Even if they were just the fans near the camera, that’s unmistakable, the boos were for Frank
When do Brentford have 56% possession?
We rack up and give them the ball.
What you said makes sense but it was the manner of the performance. Hopeless. Dreadful. There’s one thing being solid and tucking into shape, there’s another when you choose to cede possession and just boot the ball. Anywhereossesion.

May be at the time but did many want him after we decided to sack Ange. Was he one of the faves for many fans. I think at the time a glassner, irola, de zirbi etc may have been ahead of him.

I wasn't keen at all initially, didn't think he was a fit

Spent a lot of time going over all the videos, analysis, interviews etc and convinced myself he could be a good appointment

Hoped that his tactical flexibility and general pragmatism would have him refine Anges work, add a decent defensive shape to the good attacking play/intentions. Especially after how gushing he was about Ange when he came in

Now I think my gut was right in the first place

Get behind him for god's sake. He needs significant time. The joke about Tottenham fans is that they support Tottenham because they hate Tottenham the least. It is always about hate and moaning, it is never about digging in and getting behind a manager.
The irony for me now is I hate Tottenham fans the most and we probably have the worst atmosphere in Europe.

Must say I've never seen such a pro out view as we all have for Frank. As a pretty passive but obviously unhappy fence sitter, it'll be interesting to see how the next few months pan out.

Since you didn’t ask, here’s my new best case scenario.

Frank is a glorified caretaker. The club finally realize how awful this roster has been constructed.

Frank’s job is to keep us during the rebuild.

I think he’s just pissed them off because he’s asked them to do a bit more running about and not just try and sail through games using skill. I suspect if he gets sacked in the summer he’ll rock up at the scousers and do well.

I get where you are coming from mate, but you earn the right to stay in charge. Do you genuinely see anything our play to suggest that Frank is implementing meaningful change. Otherwise he is just keep a seat warm
