I get where you are coming from mate, but you earn the right to stay in charge. Do you genuinely see anything our play to suggest that Frank is implementing meaningful change. Otherwise he is just keep a seat warm
Yes, is the simple answer. The football has been shit but then again the players are pretty shit. It doesn't even matter what I think or any of you think, or that twat Stelios thinks. Frank is staying for at least two years. It is strange seeing spurs talk channels trying to create drama or the bald boys (aka our away support) booing. You guys have already won; ticket prices are too high for young fans and we have the the quietist stadium in world football. When I was growing up being the best fans and stopping our rivals getting to the stadium used to be my main goal. Now it is about what the bald boys want; which is what pizza options are available.

he shouldnt be enjoying the spurs job right now tho should he, hed have to be a masochist to be enjoying it. we are in the bottom half of the table, hes got a shit squad (ones that are fit anyway), fans are booing, getting disrespected by his own players...why the fuck would he be enjoying it hahaha. he has serious work to do and time isnt on his side as it never really is in football.
I'm just meaning he ought not be stating it to the media, its not helping for the players to see that, it's uninspiring.

He’s being too honest again. I agree he isn’t playing these press conferences right. Nice guy but he doesn’t have the charisma. Although a relief he isn’t always searching for soundbites like the last manager. Got a feeling he is trying to keep the journalists onside. No snide remarks to them like Ange used to.

May be at the time but did many want him after we decided to sack Ange. Was he one of the faves for many fans. I think at the time a glassner, irola, de zirbi etc may have been ahead of him.
I think for those that wanted Ange gone (I did) it was a sense of relief that they’d come to the correct conclusion. I remember feeling a bit underwhelmed but that was nothing new

Scrum half you say? God could you imagine our injury prone delicate flowers playing rugby, they'd all be dead after half an hour.

As an aside, I spent new year's day at the rugby and while I enjoy football much more it was so refreshing not watching players roll around face clutching anytime a gust of wind came near them.
Ive never followed rugby but am very tempted myself for similar reasons

Yeah I'm all for a little shithousery now and again, but for all we like to moan about refs the game these days seems to be 22 multimillionaires on a pitch all trying to con the poor fuckers for 90 minutes. Maybe I'm just getting old but I find it increasingly wearing.
Yep - I think many footballers would be estate agents or selling the next snake-oil (no offence meant to estate agents) if they didn’t get lucky like they have done.

Without Tim, there was no Pochettino era. He would have lasted a season tops.

I say that on the basis that Poch relied not only on the players Tim proved were first-team capable, but he also put a few years of hard-graft into their development. I think we were a bit spoilt or blinded then in terms of what he was actually doing for the club.

I'd agree with anyone that calls him a twat, and it's probably what I was doing on here 12 years ago, and it was fully justified because he was saluting adebayor, managing the side from the stands, and generally just being a fucking weirdo whilst acting like the village idiot in from of the microphones.

This must be the cringiest moment

Harry Redknapp brought Sherwood back to the club to do the job he originally did for Spurs in the background.

Levy sacked Redknapp, hired AVB, fired AVB and made Sherwood temporary manager before firing him too.

This sequence of events took place after the Louis Saha and Ryan Nelson window.

Sherwood had a win percentage of 50% during his 28 game stint as Spurs manager. Significantly better than anything Thomas Frank has achieved at Brondby, Brentford or Spurs.

Thomas Frank has a win percentage of 39.29% during his 28 game stint as Spurs manager.

Thomas Frank's win percentage in 317 games for Brentford was 41.64%

The question you should be asking yourself is how the people responsible for hiring at Spurs decided Frank was fit for the job in the first place.

VAR works in Rugby and the officials are unbiased and respected. The PGMOL are a stain on British football and earn more distrust from the paying customers every week.

Until there is a complete overhaul of the PGMOL, we won't see the end of this unwatchable, tactical foul, diving, set piece fouling, coach whingeing, and player cheating crap that has completely overtake the actual football.

I didn't want him. But Im less exercised about our form because I watched the utter snake oil Ange was bedding in and knew it would take time to undo. I think Frank is Pochettino placeholder.

I hope you are right.

I fear Frank's position may become untenable between now and the end of the season.

I'm pretty convinced he is only in place now, until the end of January, so Spurs retain a credible position in respect of attempting to recruit players for the team during this window.
