This season the league is shite, we are only 4 points of Chelsea in 5th , who sacked their manager and got a point against City with the youth gaffer, If we act quickly and got someone else in we aren't going to do any worse, however there is a good chance we can get EL next season if we just win some of the games we should be winning , talking Wolves at home where we dropped 2 points, Sunderland Yesterday thats another 2 points dropped.......

Two sources have told me that following a meeting last month between VL and VV, the process for identifying managerial candidates and creating a short list is under way. One of them said that Rafi Moersen is also involved though that would be odd given he hasn't officially started working for us. Then again, Scott Munn was very (too?) much involved in the decision process that led to Ange being hired, despite SM not officially working for us until 3 months after Ange was hired, so I suppose there is a precedent. The other source said that the Academy Director (Simon Davies --- not the one who played for us) has been providing his input into the process.

If the above is correct (and I have no idea whether it is or isn't), it's highly surprising to me that RM and SD were stated as being involved, but neither source mentioned FP or JL taking part. Perhaps, and this is entirely speculation on my part not info from a Gnome, they expect FP to be gone and/or JL is being held accountable for the TF hire. It's hard to see how internal strife at the club would increase the likelihood of them making a better (more Spurs-compatible?) managerial decision this time around.

FYI That’s from COYS forum. Think most of it is guesswork and not sure it really tells us anything other than confirming it’s an utter mess behind the scenes.

Frank should have been sacked after the Chelsea game. He lost the dressing room that day and was booed off the park. That was his Nuno Manchester United moment. You have to move then and nip it in the bud. Instead we are persisting and it's not working.

I can't think of any happy moments this season. Even all our wins felt like covering over the cracks. Who's the best team we beat anyway? Prob Everton or Brentford? It's been abysmal. And then all the low points - Bournemouth, Wolves, Chelsea, Woolwich, Forest. Its been so toxic.

I remember supporting us back in the early 2000s when we were a midtable club and miles off the top teams. But we always some good times in the season. Players like Keane, Defoe, Berbatov to excite you. Proper characters like King, Dawson, Jenas, etc, who just got the spurs fans and always showed up in a Derby game. This teams doesn't understand the fans at all. The club is so broken. We're now been made feel like we are the problem and we need to give Frank time? Fuck off. Spurs have passion and fight. We have identity. You just can't see it. The new stadium has been a disaster too. Has played a huge part in killing the soul of the club.

This might be my last post for a while. I'm really losing my passion for this. The club I always loved just doesn't feel like that club anymore. It's feels so hollow and I don't know anyone in the club who cares. As much as I gave out about Levy, atleast he was a spurs fan. These vinai's and langes haven't a clue. They don't get it. And Frank doesn't get it at all. He's in awe of Woolwich and arteta. He's not a spurs fan and never will be. He's not even trying to understand us. There's nothing in this for me anymore. None of them care as much as we do, and that hurts. I don't know if spurs will ever be the same again. It feels finished.

I think last season under Ange was worse, but it's sad to say, and I can't believe it really, there's not much in it
