I honestly thought he'd do okay when he arrived, get us organised, flexible, not neglect defence and set-pieces, etc, etc.

Man, has he been disappointing thus far. Likeable chap but he's just out of his depth and simply isn't used to managing a club of this size. Just a matter of time before he's gone.
Yeah I don't get into the whole name calling thing. It's embarrassing. Seems like a nice guy, but this was too big for him. Happens innit.

When he's eventually gone, it'll be fucking beautiful, but wish him all the best.

I think because of the song and dance made appointing him, all the steps they went through, the favourite candidate, a new face to lead a new era etc that they don't want egg on their faces that it's been an unmitigated disaster.

Only reason I can come up with.

They could quite easily pin his appointment on Levy and sack him.

They have to get rid, this is going absolutely nowhere. We’ve known that for months. Get a caretaker in till the summer, I have no idea who, but he can’t be back in a Tottenham dugout for our next game.

Still not convinced but if it is real then he has to go even if we were in the top 5.

It's a fucking paper cup jesus christ

As a fan i always associate tottenham having class players, something about them and beat anyone in the world on our day. Frank is way off it. Its not all on frank. Imo players have been traumatised from the ange fiasco last 18 months. But frank needs to go. Not good enough. We need a manager to lift the dressing room and instill confidence.

Think you're downplaying how competitive the league is this season.
Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford, etc., aren't like the small clubs in the early 2010s that get battered by all the big clubs. We have to accept that they're all pretty decent right now and unfortunately, much better at recruitment than us.
...and we weren't really one of those Big Clubs either!

Problem is the longer we keep performing like this they look really eggy anyway

I mean, how's the new era going?
