That’s never stopped us in the past and as I said the other day it gets made up over time through things like league placement winnings.
There will be numerous reasons he hasn’t gone but I bet the payoff has nothing to do with it whatsoever.

Well the only two football people above Frank are Lange and Paratici, unless the hierarchy are going to find someone outside of the club to consult, it's going to be down to those two.
I think the board/owners don't know what to do, they are hesitating, not just about the money but who to turn to if they sack Frank. Maybe they don't trust Lange to advise on the best candidate, and Paratici is likely off to Italy soon. They need a David Pleat like advisor.
Where's Aston Villa in that list though??...i bet they're behind us eh....

I have thought that what he said publicly about the Tottenahm supporters could be used as justification for his sacking and a reduced pay off.
Speaks to Frank’s cautious game plan. I have a hard time understanding how we could only have 11 through balls this entire PL season - less than one per match.
I want a manager that would demand more aggressive play with the ball.
He's a very good character.
As in, he's so utterly vanilla, he wouldn't ever be likely to cause any kind of scene or controversy.
He's like the Anti-Conte. I could see why a team would find that appealing, too.
But England were so fucking boring I couldn't watch.
