Some keep saying this, giving him one more game and then losing that.

We are running out of games to pick up points. Just giving him another game is just an excuse for him to try and turn it around, he won't. Giving him more games is just cowardice.

We need to sack him now and get a replacement in immediately.
Again, this is spot on.

It’s not going to get better. He’s not going to turn it round. We are sinking deeper and deeper into the mire.

So why wait to sack him?

I agree but we dont make the decisions. The ones that do are spineless and ruderless from top to bottom

He is a nice guy but totally out of his depth at a big club.

He is a football warlord like Nuno. Sit deep and spam it forward, it might work at Brentford with more disciplined, experienced players who honed their craft in the championship but it’s useless with more talented but far less rounded players.

We have now hired two managers who don’t fit the squad. Ange who played such a gun-ho system it required very elite players in certain positions and Frank who has no attacking structure to put high energy younger players in.

Alonso is the dream, his work at Leverkusen with younger players was outstanding and his structure is attacking and balanced. I would love Poch back but the summer is to late. Almost thinking Ole Gunnar Solskjær if we have to go down the route of temp manager.

How did he win games at Brentford? It baffles me to think he had success there.

He had much better forwards than he does here and his style of football suited them. They played not to lose and attack on the break, perfectly acceptable at a club like Brentford.

Here he has had to adapt his ideas to a club that expects to play on the front foot and failed completely. It doesn’t help that our forwards wouldn’t start for Brentford. Not a single one.

If I was completely confident we weren't going to be relegated I could probably accept going to the end of the season before sacking him. But there is a genuine risk of relegation now. How big that risk is, I don't know, but it's definitely non-zero. Burnley away next which I'm definitely not sure we're getting anything from and then follows a nightmare schedule in February. Burnley and West Ham are still quite far behind but if just one of them manage to get some momentum then we really are in deep shit (if we aren't already). We simply have to do something now, we can't let this continue and just talk about him needing time.
