I genuinely don’t think his inevitable sacking will fix anything. This is not a defense of Frank (I generally think he’s a mediocre PL coach who’s out of his depth) but rather that he can’t overcome a spoilt and completely misaligned squad. He hasn’t got the force of personality or the tactical edge, but even if he had them both, we’d be about 7th or 8th, nowhere near challenging for anything.

The biggest issue you can ever have at a club is if making changes to the biggest positions (manager/sporting director) doesn’t actually change things.

Out with the Frank and in with the new scapegoat to guide us to 13th. That’s basically the only thing I see changing.

If you mean 'is our squad really bottom 6 in the PL', then no, of course not. In which case it's primarily on Frank, sadly (as obviously he's a really nice bloke).
We say that, but how many clubs would a front three of Odobert, Tel, and RKM start at? Would they even make the bench at one of the other big six? Spence/Porro? Is Vicario better than an average Prem keeper?

They are protecting him. They want him to carry on as our manager, because then we will be useless and pose no threats to continue being the big 6 clubs. And the best outcome for them will be for Frank to drag us down to be relegated and fuck out of the league.
If that was their goal, then they would've protected Ange until the day he was sacked. In fact most of them did protect him until it became clear that he was an asshole with extremely thin skin and was incredibly easy to bait into giving them material.

We saw very little improvement with Kudus and Richarlison. RKM good enough for Juventus, but not Spurs?

Frank hasn't built a system around the players available, he's trying to shoehorn those players to a system they don't suit.

We had a goal scorer in Johnson. A workhorse in Richarlison, pace from Kudus, Odobert and skill from Simmons. This is a team that is perfect for high press, high energy, goals on the break.

Outside of set pieces, there is zero coordination between the players when in possession. They seem to hoof long balls into dead ends, or just run down the wings to nowhere.

It's shocking that last seasons top goal scorer was discarded, and last seasons top player (bergvall) can't get a game.

VDV game time isn't being managed, and it won't be long till he needs a spell on the sidelines.

Won’t fix anything but will have a positive impact and improve us IMO.

Good luck to any new manager , you can’t polish a turd . Honestly don’t think any of our front line wouid look out of place at Brentford , wolves or Bournemouth , certainly none wouid get near a top 6 team . Then look at our midfield , not one stand out player , just a collection of 4-6/10 players . Then u have Romero who decides where he wants to play , a keeper that has great reflexes but ask him to catch a cross or save a shot from 20 yards and he’s nowhere , can’t kick the ball either . The defence individually looks good on paper but in reality is also a shit show . I fear we are too far gone , it’s not inconceivable we don’t get more than 3 points in our next 6 games and could be 4 or 5 points off relegation . You fancy this lot to fight their way out of it ??

It was bizarre to hear the announcer today talking about how he thinks Spurs look impressive under Frank. Like- who the eff are you kidding, buddy?

I think we will sign Marmoush and possibly another established player then it looks better. If Solanke stays fit, he’s a big boost

Repeating the same actions again and again expecting a different outcome is insanity.Spurs should approach the situation with courage, practicality, and a positive mindset; it would be advisable for Frank to leave due to insufficient performances. Appoint Ben Davies as player-manager until the end of the season, with Romero as his assistant. Allow the players to work towards resolving the current shitshow.

agree the squad is a mess, If the injuried players were avaiable it woud look a lot better, that woudn't change the fact that the backups are not up to it
but having these players missing surely a good manager/coaching staff would change how they setup and formation they play, Frank & his coaches stick to 433 a system that the players availalbe cannot either create or convert chances to score

The same thing said about replacing Ange with Frank could also be said about the ex scum Vinai replacing Levy. We thought both Ange and Levy were poor and the replacements will improve us. It's really anything but. What a sad state of affairs..

why has Frank alienated players (Tel, Biss, Johnson) surely as an experanced manager he knows that at sometime he will need these players to play for him
If you want to alienate players ( there may be good reasons) don't go back to them bring in a kid to play, OR don't alienate them in the first place, talk to them, coach them, help them

Why does he leave the capable Danso on the bench and not put the first choice Netherlands LB in his position at LB? Goons and City playing with footballing CB’s at FB - why are we continuing with the hapless Porro/Spence

The thing is, when we sack or managers or it is the end of the road with them it’s usually at a point when I can’t stand them. They’ve annoyed me beyond belief. Weirdly that hasn’t happened with Frank. I feel sorry for him more than anything else. He seems a decent guy, the job is just too much for him. It’s eaten up and spat out bigger coaches than him and it’s felt over the last few months that it is just too much for him. It’s why the next coach has to be top tier. If not it will end in tears again, mark my words.

My only issues with what you are saying:

Johnson whilst being too goal scorer was much maligned by so much if the fan base
Bergvall gets game time but appears to get injured a fair bit
VDV can't have his game time managed as Romero plays a game and then gets banned.

But Frank does need to go, he has not built a system that works in the slightest

Best we have played recently was Villa second half and that was when we took the brakes off. All our forwards strengthens are when they are allowed to play off the cuff baller style. That is completely the opposite of sit deep without the ball and counter. So a manager with a flexible attacking style would most fit what we have. Its why the calls for Glasner astound me, he would be shit in terms of fitting us.
