The Goons were not in the mess we were in ,sure they were well off winning the title but no fear of relegation and Arteta did win a cup plus they invested in good players and then some until they got the right mix and look at them now .If our owners didn't bite the bullet when we were almost there under Poch they never will ,that much is clear .To be successful obviously you buy good players not might be good .

I think Frank let the cat out of the bag with his comments about copying the goons (when they gave Arteta time) with his press conference comments prior to that match.

I've said it before, the situation with Arteta ie a rookie manager getting so much time whilst failing, and later being successful is an anomaly, and our club ought not be using that as a pathway to success.

Both Ferguson and Klopp did very well with their previous clubs to warrant being given such time at United and Liverpool. Arteta did fuck all previously to warrant more time and the situation with them, is a complete one off that we're bizarrely trying to emulate.

Yep. That opta article posted towards the end of last week goes into detail how it’s nothing like how the scum were under Lego head. The underlying stats are completely different, and not in a good way for us.

Was massive for Arteta having his worst period during covid. No fans to boo him every week. Was easier to block out the noise a persist.

It's totally toxic now. We've literally booed Frank and the team nearly every game for the last 3 months

Of course they do because it's the board who are the actual problem.

ENIC are not and have never been ambitious. They never will be.

But you said in the Ange thread...:gallashmm:

If we can't compete with the Top 4 that's on ENIC.

If we can't compete with Brighton, Bournemouth, Fulham and are tussling in the bottom half with Everton and West Ham then that's on the manager.

Can't say fairer than that.

Spurs did this to themselves you can't go down the ladder to Frank and Postecoglou from Antonio Conte and try to convince people you are ambitious. Its going from shopping at Fortnum and Masons to shopping at Aldi. We have to think about a interim coach to get us to the summer, then we have get the best manager available absolutely top level. Then look to an experience D.O.F.

I was defending the performance yesterday because atleast we played front foot and created a tonne of chances for once! It was actually an exciting game to watch. Felt like an Ange performance where we dominated but gave away stupid goals!

But this isn't Frank. He's clearly lost the dressing room and the players are doing their own thing on the pitch. Also, his interviews are so bad. Every time he talks it gets worse. He's so far out of his depth and he's now just playing the sympathy card. The media love him! Jesus they attacked Ange every week last season and it was never this bad. Frank seems to get a free pass. It's only the spurs fans who can see right through him.

He's easily the worst Tottenham manager in the history of the club.

Spot on. It’s not hard is it, yet I bet the club make it look like climbing Everest as per usual.

Frank is doing no worse than Ange. Above 17th, and doing well in Europe.

I can see why you want him sacked, but if you believe Ange was OK, then you should love Frank. There's no way around it. He's doing no worse than Ange.

Of course, most fans expect more, but the Ange crew deserves him.
