I agree that Frank isn't ever going to succeed here, but right now there is nobody who can do anything here.

We have no fit rightback, our only left back is a 19 year old just off the plane from Brazil we have a halfwit for a captain, and that's probably overrating his brain capacity by 50%, our keeper is the worst in the League, our star players are defenders who can't defend, we have no wingers, and no regular goal threat.

What we need is all our players fit, particularly Maddison and Kulusevski, without that anyone will struggle.

With it, even Frank would keep us up.
We are in this position because of Frank,
He has had enough players to do better.
Even with Maddison and Kulu, things would not be much better as he plays crap football.

He is useless and should be sacked and probably replaced with the Fox like creature in Shady;s profile photo.

Its his complete weakness. Weak over Romero 3 or 4 times now, weak about the players ignoring him. Batting for ENIC constantly to keep his job. Its supply teacher stuff. He has no control over this lot whatsoever.

He is nice guy but that ain’t what we need. Most elite managers are freaks. Pep, Klopp are mad unhinged people, Arteta is a proper weirdo, Poch is a strange romantic.

Frank is your neighbour who tends the garden well and goes out his bike at weekend. He is a guy from your office who is ok at his job but will never be a CEO. He is simply to normal and in this environment too weak.

The players need to be running through walls, our system of play needs to be top draw. Neither are happening and that is a manager issue.

Media seem to see him as the victim, acting like he’s doing the best he can.

We’re fucking 6 points above the 18th in February! His former team are 7th having sold their 2 best players in the summer and lost all their coaching staff.

He’s well out of his depth, no tactical ideas and speaks bollocks. Get him gone.

Imagine replacing your manager with the cone boy and then he ends up giving you your best premier league season and is 10 points ahead of the previous guys new team

Most outside of this Club want him to stay.
Like we did with Ten Hag and Amorim.

They know we'regoing nowhere with this guy.

I haven't even voted for him to be kept in you clown.

We don't need you to vote mate

It depends on the metrics of "poor at your job". Taking out emotion and fan bias, you could say:
  • Has massively exceeded expectations in the CL, which has generated a lot of revenue
(yes, everyone was expecting us to get stiffed, not to finish 4th in the group stage)
  • Has started the season with key players missing to long term injury and has seen then issue compound for the 3rd year in a row, despite rotating
  • Has arguably been dealt a weak hand with the squad available, with Son not replaced and been given a worse-than-Carlos-Vinicius player as a loan strikers
  • And this is the one that certain tools on here really struggle with comprehending - is still currently outperforming the points total of last season so far
That isn't my 'defence' of Frank - I don't think anyone expected last seasons 17th place finish to become the metronome to base our seasons off, nor should it be seen as a point-of-reference for a normal season. It's merely a matter of how it might be measured in terms of his performance in terms of what you refer to as "poor", as it won't necessarily match up to how things will be judged if we somehow get to a CL semi-final or further. It's a biopolar season in performances across the two competitions
