You didn't really support him, like me you gave him a chance as after 9 games it was too early to say anything one way or another. As said back then, it was too soon to say one way or another, and it will take years to sort the mess out at the club. Levy since not investing in three windows before CL final, has completely fucked us, everything he has said, has been a lie, just like new stadium = more money for player wages and better players. Lies.
And once again we entered a season with an unbalanced mess or Frankenstein squad that had no real functioning left hand side. Not to mention, loaning the likes of Devine out, and not giving him in chance, in a team with very few fit AM's and a full blown injury crisis.
Nobody knew how it was going to pan out, anyone who says they did, is just lying to themselves, regarding Frank. Even then, if he had done well, it would still have taken 2/3 years to really undo most of the damage down over the years since that CL final.
Even now it's not that easy to say sack Frank, as it is not just him, it's also most of his background staff he brought with him from Brentford, what is going to happen if he goes? Train the players, the only thing I can think of is that already have someone lined up for the Summer, after the WC.
Everyone saying look at Carrick? Really, the guy has an almost full fit squad, and the previous manager was hated by the players, as he ostracised half the team. Coming in and playing players in their best positions isn't rocket science, he has had to do very little comparatively. And the biased as fuck commentators are wanking him off like he is the second coming.
I am not impressed one bit by Carrick, as ManU are were never in 10% of the mess we are in.
Carrick would simply never have had that luxury at Tottenham, as we are a clusterfuck of a mess. Bringing in a LW, wouldn't have done much either, because we have severe rot at the club regarding players, players like Romero, who mouth of one minute, and completely fuck us in the next game, like he has so many times already this season. And no amounts of Carrick's will ever address this, unless we actually pull the trigger on players like Romero, and so many others that should never have been allowed to stay at the club, but we kept them coz Levy's cheap option, coz he thought he knew best.
There is also no one at Spurs to take over at the club as an interim manager. Mason failed after he left at WBA, and the other guy left. The new guy, has been at the club for like 2/3 weeks, so completely out of his depth. We literally have to limp until we get a new manager.
I am not happy with Frank, he has become his own worst enemy, and I hope that it will sorted come the summer, as long as we don't go down.
Fans should never feel bad for giving people a chance, unlike the all asshole that slagged Souza off for the last couple of weeks before he's actually kicked a ball, simply becaue we didn't spunk a £100 million on a player, then he puts in a good performance considering the circumstances, and things actually look hopeful for him. Will he turn out to be great player for us? Who knows, but he 100% isn't if fans keep acting like cunts to him.
If it wasn't for that grade A cunt liability today, Romero, we might have got something today. Who knows, Romero never gave us a chance.
But you are right, a lot of thing in your post, peoples memories are short, when they have an agenda to push.
Nobody has patience anymore, everyone expects instant results, they rewrite history to push naratives, and worst thing of all, they never put anything into context, and they think everything is black and white, and it really just isn't.
