Because at this point we are so downtrodden with results that fans are having to argue about whether they preferred getting battered every week before or whether they prefer it now.
None of it makes an ounce of difference but there you are.
The premise was that Ange is a rank Amateur clown and our worst manager ever.
Seeing that this was widely accepted, then it’s expected that a solid, premier league proven manager like Frank should be at least having us in the top 10.
Frank has managed to perform even worse than him despite the addition of FIVE established international players. (Kudus, Palhinha, Simons, Muani, Gallagher).
Add in the vastly different (some would say hypocritical) media/pundit narratives surrounding the two and it’s easy to see why people get riled up.
Oh and there’s also the small factor of a trophy/parade thrown in.

The main difference was also that the players bought into Anges project. Even when results were slim, as they was, the players appeared and expressed they were motivated and inspired.
On their best day we could beat any team in the PL, and even with style (and then go on to lose Burnley, Forest etc, yes).
That spirit was also what eventually led us to go on win a trophy.
I can't see us winning anything with Frank. He lost tje players, at least some of them, back in november, and has never recovered . He is a dead man walking, and the sad part is that he knows it.
Why we keep this project going?

I said at the start of the season, that this season is a right off, as the club is such a mess that will take years to sort out.

The Board went for one coaching extreme to another. If Postecoglou was a bit more measured then he might have won more games. If Frank was a bit more adventurous then he might have won more games.
Since the beginning of November. We have TWO wins in SIXTEEN league games. We have ONE win in TEN league games. We’ve lost EIGHT of them. In that time we’ve also required late equalisers against Newcastle & Burnley. We’ve gone behind in TWELVE of those games.
We haven’t scored more than 2 goals in any of those games. We’ve conceded 2 or more goals in ELEVEN of those 16 games. Our first choice keeper and centre backs have been available for 95% of those games.
We are now SIX points clear of the bottom 3. Our next TEN premier league fixtures come against sides that we have collected a total of SEVEN points against in the reverse fixtures this season with ONE win in the 10 games played.
West Ham have won more league games since the 17th of January than we have since the 1st of November. Any time I start believing something might come against Newcastle on Tuesday because they are in bad form, I’m quickly reminded that we have won ONE home league game since August 16th, and even that was 2 months ago.
There is a very real chance of being relegated albeit I still think we will find enough points.
How has this been allowed to happen?

Ange challenged their methods. He was a bit of dick, snarky and above all a dreamer, he thought his way would work come hell or high water. That made him a big target, someone to chop the legs off of.
Frank is a nice friendly Dane who won’t rock any boat in any way. He paints no target on his back , he won’t push back against anyone. They probably feel bad writing anything negative about his management.
Would explain, Gallagher then... Also heard that Frank didn't want him.
Heard that Vivian and Charlie have been in contact with Poch for sometime...
So could well be something in it.
