Lack of balls would be my guess and a team low on confidence!
It's not a defence of Frank or a call to keep him as such, things were poor even before the massive injury crisis.
But, the fanbase needs to manage it's expectations if anyone were to come in to replace him, nobody is going to be able to work a miracle in the current circumstances.

We don’t really play passing triangles like City or Bournemouth. We don’t look to control games, it’s all get the ball and bang it down the line. I very much doubt the players want that, it’s clearly our style of play.
As an example a really awful Burnley team under Kompany played really good football, great coaching. They just didn’t have the quality. Style of play is the manager.
