I can't think of another team in Premier League history. Be it a big club or a small club.. Have such a heinous record as 2 wins in 16.. whilst putting so much onus on the fans.

Now the fans are important in games like tomorrow of course.. But fingers are always being pointed in every other direction. The message rarely seems to be "We haven't been good enough. There's no excusing this form. We need to put it right".. It always seems to be"Yeah results haven't been good, but this, but injuries, but the fans, but hey didn't we play half decent for that 20 minutes?"

Where's this guy when we need him...

Bullshit.

I think most were underwhelmed slightly, but anything was seen better than Ange so not much noise.

And Frank is comfortably worse than Ange (and I was desperate for Ange to go)

This is all about how far our standards have dropped as a Club, and that emanates from the top.
Lol, very revisionist. I had arguments with yourself early on about it. Go to the start of the Frank thread and it was very popular.

It's not really. I don't think anyone was excited by the Frank appointment, more just so relieved Ange was going...anyone would do attitude.

That doesn't equate to being a Frank fanboy ffs 😂
Well, if people didn't think it was a good idea, they'd have flagged it. Not many did.

I didn't say it equated to being a fan boy at all. The argument was who thought it was a good idea, and the large majority here most certainly did.

Yeah I recall most being meh when he was linked. Only for a small handful on preaching about how great a manager he was with more just accepting it and deciding to give him a chance once it was official

If they thought it was a bad idea, they wouldn't have been meh. I wasn't here at the time, but I can imagine the majority we're not meh when Ange signed. I'd say then people piped up to say it was a crazy idea. Meh means not fussed, but you accept the rationale.

Nah. Totally the fans fault all this. Total bunch of wrong uns. They pay their money, give their time, sing home and away, year in year out and have the fucking cheek to expect not to be entirely embarrassed at every single opportunity, it’s so wrong.

As client reference numbers they shouldn’t be afforded opinions, the right to challenge nor indeed have the opportunity to do anything other than buy polyester products at obscene prices.

And another thing, don’t expect professional players to be professional, i.e put in a shift irrespective of circumstances, I mean every time someone gets on their case at a corner it’s totally wrong and they should not be expected to not be upset by hurty words.

Twenty minutes in every 90 is fine for a performance too. Excepting anything more than that is bang out of line. Really is. If you don’t like the football. Go buy the Vegan burgers from our carbon neutral palace.

Yes because we were so desperate to replace Ange so of course most weren't complaining.

I mean it's not a hard concept to grasp.
