After 40 years of supporting the football club, you know what, I feel so apathetic about the club, because the owners use it as a cash-cow, I honestly don't mind if we get relegated. I no longer recognise the football club, just a business pretending to be interested in football.
The club needs ripping up and starting again, because for most of the time I have supported it, it's been shite. Take out the Poch era, and, going back to 1986 when I started, I've seen one FA Cup win (when I was 18!), two crappy league cups and this season's Europa, tainted by the league position and boring final. A win is a win I guess.
I can't help how they've made me feel, but if they stay up or get relegated, I'm honestly not bothered now. Thanks ENIC.
Maybe in August, with a new manager and some quality players, I'll be more interested and optimistic. But I also know that their choice of a new manager and any players they buy, based on the last 5 years, isn't going to be all that inspiring.
