This answer is what’s going on:

I totally accept it is not one man responsible, but do you accept that if the club continue to get closer to the relegation zone, the only thing they can change is your position?

I understand the mechanism in football, no doubt about that but there are a lot of studies that it is not the right thing to do. I know it's the only movement they have, but there's also plenty of situations where it's not the right thing to do.

They really think that this can be studied in some sudo science, study on coaching. They have no real football knowledge and believe that they can Money Ball themselves into success

The reason I'm as confident as he is that he isn't going anywhere -- and will likely be here next season (barring total disaster in coming games/spam+forest results) -- is I lolled season after season at scum youtubers, delighting in the agony they went through with Arteta's early years there and listened to them rage about Vinai sticking with him and refusing to sack him.

And now they're close to winning the title.

So it's not based on hot air.

Vinai will dig in.

Seems to be his thing.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to what Frank is saying post game tonight.

He's not going to say he thinks his job is in doubt. Rarely do they ever say that. The owners and leadership will never let on your job is in doubt until it happens and they say "youre fired." Just the way it is.

I know the club have continually let us down this season by keeping this guy in the job, but I would just be staggered if he isn't gone tomorrow.

But nothing he says tonight should be used as evidence either way.

Trix said he had heard Frank needed to get something tonight, and he hasn't. I'm going to hope that bit of info was accurate and they'll finally pull the trigger.

But it really serves little purpose for them to sack him at 10pm tonight other than to keep the fans happy, but they can just do it tomorrow. Makes more sense when they all go to Hotspur Way.

Even they must know, to do nothing at this stage will result in relegation.

Gooners were never in danger of losing their place in the league

How can this club appoint two of its worst managers in history back-to-back?
Due to other influences such as injuries & transfer recruitment, which has been awful.

When your options become what we have in attack, after selling Kane and Son retiring, and not replacing them appropriately will prove damaging.

Ange and Frank are terrible but these aspects have definitely not helped.

Nothing wrong with keeping fans happy, just saying

Woolwich were never this bad under arteta like we are now.

They had one bad month under Arteta and recovered and that was it. We are the worst team on form at the moment and 5 points above the drop.

It's not comparable at all.

Surely there would be some noise from the media if his job was in danger? It shouldn't be possible but the useless cunts running this clownshow will just let this continue.

TBH, I would liked to have seen what Ange could have done this season. If he was doing shit, then sack him then. If we had got Mbeumo and started with Ange, we would be doing well. Look where Man U are now with Mbeumo from where they were last season, just above us in the league and beaten by us in the EL final.
