Lets be honest here they dont have a clue what to do next. They probably thought they could wait until the summer when Poch, Tuchel, Glasner and Iraola were all on freebies. There are no interims that stand out and they cant decide what comes next.
The interim doesn't need to stand out even Ryan Mason had a better game plan and an actual style of play than Frank. Frank does not have a clue how to build an attack.

I just clicked a load of the profiles and every one I clicked that I didn't recognise, joined here in late 2025 or 2026.
I'm going for the Danish equivalents of Angebois. Some look like they've been banned. I'm gonna guess the likes of 1882 1882 has just forgotten to change his vote.

He didn't sack Ange.
Levy didn't sack Ange? Then who did?

Why did Levy appoint Vinai? This bastard was CEO at Woolwich for 14 years, it’s like Kim Philby working for MI6, it beggars belief FFS.
I actually think he probably didn't have a choice in the matter.

Seeing how quickly Levy was dispatched, the power was obviously with the Lewis's, and I believe they probably told Levy to employ him on the pretence of "lending a hand", knowing all along that they were going to sack Levy.

they just wanted someone in there to steady the ship after Daniel Levy was removed, and Vinai was available.

Ruthless bastards!

because to act now would cost money

ENIC / Money

yet if they dont act now, and decisively, they will lose more money than they can possibly imagine

I’m not sure.

That story from Mokbel looked very much like the message I’d put out if I wanted to gauge the reaction.

Gauge the reaction though. I mean no right thinking Spurs fan could conclude anything but sacking this manager and rolling the dice with someone else is not the correct path to go down.

I am angry, bewildered, pained, and somewhat empty.

It's not about losing yesterday or the absolute certainty of losing to that lot and Liverpool, but the losses to lesser sides, and the notion that we are still waiting.

I mean waiting ,gauging what exactly?

Staggering.

We need a bounce 2/3 games and sorted snd yet nothing.

I would say any interim would hopefully produce at least short term bounce to get us over the line being safe. We just need some kind of lift for the fans to get on board then revaluate in the summer. Vinai and Lange are too arrogant to admit they have it wrong.

The situation with Ange also wasn’t as bad as it currently is.

Ange for all his faults didn’t manage to piss off the entire fan base, just a part of it. Nor did he put his foot in his mouth at every single press conference by talking about Woolwich, or glorifying losses.

The bottom 3 were also far weaker than this seasons.

Frank’s completely untenable.

Another reason why I’m more or less certain that Levy would’ve sacked him by now is that he was the face of ENIC, and their lightning rod. The fans would’ve turned on him and he’d have caved.
.

They are laughing at us.

The thing is we absolutely deserve relegation. If we were outsiders looking in we would say "yep this club play shite football, have shite owners, have a manager that his out of his depth, have a captain that's busy doing socials and getting red cards, have an arrogant DOF who has already stated he's thinking about summer transfers rather then aiding in the situation now.

It's just that we support and love the club that we are feeling it but my God if this was happening at another club I'd be laughing my tits off.

Before anyone jumps on me, I'm not saying he should've stayed and I'm not an apologist..

However, Ange never lost the players like Frank has. The fans weren't as turned as they are now. He might have had us in the same position, but the players never lost faith in him.

Ryan Mason for a few games when you're upper mid table is fine. In a relegation fight i'm not sure. Lets not forget he was an integral part of a coaching team that finished 17th and was sacked at West Brom after half a season. Dont get me wrong i think we have to roll the dice, just no idea on who.

Of course the cunts in charge now start saying how they know signings are needed.

Honestly, I hate them.. It's genuine hate. I wouldn't piss on them to put out a fire. They're cunts who only care about their bank accounts. Nepo baby cunts who want to impress their Dad.

This is absolutely fucking wild. There’s no logical argument for not sacking him at this point.

Whether injuries have a part to play is where we are, and no doubt they have some part in it, it doesn’t matter, the bad mood and nervousness has long since set in amongst the players, he’s not lifting them, they want him gone, they hate playing for him. It doesn’t matter whether Frank’s been dealt a bad hand by injuries or your shit squad building and years of not investing, he’s lost the fucking dressing room.

Sticking isn’t an option, we need to get someone that can come in and lift the mood around the place, enough so that we can win 4 or 5 games out of the last 12.

I honestly think Harry Redknapp’s the best option out here for this, I’ve said it for weeks. We don’t need some young modern, data led, buzzword speaking tactico, we need a man manager who can come in, lift the mood, get the players fighting for him, ease some of the anxiety in the stands, handle the media and create a siege mentality shared between him, the players and us against everyone else. Harry will do that.

For people suggesting Mason, he’s too inexperienced to chuck in to this situation. That wouldn’t ease the anxiety amongst the fans. Like it or not, we are in that “Big Sam, Tony Pulis, Sean Dyche firefighting till the end of the season” situation now. Harry would be my choice to get us out of it. He’s got the charisma to lift the mood, and most of us still have a fondness for him.

Sack Odds already starting to drift this morning as the dust settles after yet another home defeat.

10 more days of absolute hell and misery before Woolwich.

I think I'm going to try and mentally check out of all things Tottenham for the time being. It's just torture right now. Mentally unbearable.

When relegated I will actually refuse to watch us in the championship, ENIC have destroyed the club this season for god knows how long. Complete break from Tottenham.
I'm kinda looking forward to always having completely free weekends and no unnecessary added stress from a game.
I'll check the results on BBC website and that's It, It will be great for mental health I think

No company wants to lose at least 1bn. They are just incompetent. You get the impression that when they sacked Levy they thought it was going to be easy and they'd win the fans.

Vinai and Lange will back Frank until they take us all down.

I can only hope this is bollocks but I have a feeling Vinai and genuinely are still totally behind him, which is why Frank is so ballsy about his future.

Vinai and Lange will probably see us relegated before they admit they were wrong about Frank.

I think Franks powerpoint presentations have blinded them

I respect that they want to stand by their man, but we are past the point where they cant ignore reality

16th in the league, 29 points from 26 games and our last win was a spawny result LAST YEAR. And we are 5 points above the relegation zone.

It doesnt matter how much they are on the Frank bus (train?) the decision has to be made

Maybe they don’t care about Spurs fan reactions and more about media narratives amongst the herd that has fully decided to back Frank

They are more afraid of that backlash than anything from fans. If they cared about fans, he was gone a month ago at least
