I think Frank might actually be the first manager since Poch to unify the fanbase

For the opposite reason, ironically

Poch unified us behind the team, and when he was sacked it caused a split with us

Frank unifies us in his sacking :franklol:

Ryan Mason for a few games when you're upper mid table is fine. In a relegation fight i'm not sure. Lets not forget he was an integral part of a coaching team that finished 17th and was sacked at West Brom after half a season. Dont get me wrong i think we have to roll the dice, just no idea on who.
I did not say I wanted Mason. I said he had more ideas than Frank when it came to defensive structure. Pretty sure it will be Heitinga.

De Zerbi is not a good character

Is very divisive in general

WILL have a Conte like meltdown in his second season

Never lasts long anywhere

When it popped up with him the other week, Brighton fans were desperate for his return though

And he does play good football

I can understand him being on peoples Radar, on balance though I think he would be a short term appointment - inevitable disaster in another 18 months
I think he will light a fire under the players, just enough to get 3 or 4 wins to survive.

I genuinely believed he had at least something to do with Brentford getting to where they are.

Then they lose their top scorers and replace him with the set piece coach and got better.

They have a very specific game model and formula there. They are excellent at recruiting players to fill it

It will get them reliable mid table finishes for the foreseeable. In that system, it looks like the coaches aren’t really that important tbh

I have to believe they didn't want to sack him when there were 2-3 days between games, giving a replacement a fair week to prepare for the next game..

Also we should have been well prepared for this eventuality with a replacement announcent due imminently.. because there's no way the board should find themselves unprepared for this eventuality. Surely.

He’s a complete cock but I think he might put a rocket up the squad and fashion a few wins.

People really need to stop overthinking this.

The question we need to answer is ‘who can help us not get relegated?’ We do not need to worry about some mythical Xanadu where we’re stable and competitive.
