Some talk of Heitinga as interim with Mason coming in to join him and then Mason staying on in summer when Poch comes back

Let’s be honest it will be that type of thing. Still should be an improvement. I know a Mason/Heitinger axis might not be elite but both have been temp managers so they know the drill.

I suspect other options will be the likes of Ole and such. We won’t be getting a top manager in this situation it will all be just get a guy to motivate.

He’s a complete cock but I think he might put a rocket up the squad and fashion a few wins.

People really need to stop overthinking this.

The question we need to answer is ‘who can help us not get relegated?’ We do not need to worry about some mythical Xanadu where we’re stable and competitive.
This. Fuck thinking about long-term strategy (because that's really worked out well for them), we need to just thinking about the next 12 games. Then we can do whatever the jokers feel like in the summer, the rest of this season is the priority because we are very much in the shit

I have to believe they didn't want to sack him when there were 2-3 days between games, giving a replacement a fair week to prepare for the next game..

Also we should have been well prepared for this eventuality with a replacement announcent due imminently.. because there's no way the board should find themselves unprepared for this eventuality. Surely.
Not with 2 wins in 17 but this is Enic and their puppets so always expect ineptitude and chaos.

It's over and I'm just relieved. I'm nervous and scared of what our owners will do next but atleast this chapter is closed.

Thomas Frank. I don't know what to say. You seem a nice man. But you are easily the worst spurs manager of my lifetime. Tactically ahead of sherwood but atleast sherwood knew what Spurs and the fans were about and had us playing with some level of passion. You just looked like a rabbit in the headlights from the beginning.

You've outdone Nuno. Nuno's time at Spurs will never be referenced again. Worrying about who will the next Frank will be our biggest concern. You failed miserably and best of luck on your future conquests. I imagine you will get another job in the prem and you'll prob beat us.

Reckon it'll be Mason as interim and then Poch in summer

On the High Performance podcast Poch was very complimentary about Mason, specifically how as an academy player he just instantly understood what Pochs football was about and could do it

I dont personally think Mason is the interim, but if Poch is the long term choice - I could see Mason coming in now then joining Pochs coaching team in the summer

I think he will light a fire under the players, just enough to get 3 or 4 wins to survive.

And by about November he will just light the players on fire

Cannot take a chance with Ryan. He steered West Brom towards relegation and his replacement is doing just the same. No idea who might turn up.

Carrick was a middling championship manager, Kompany got Burnley super-relegated etc.

The fact that Mason appears to not be a factor is more of a reason not to judge him. His albion side played decent football, and it's more the squad that is letting them down.

Not advocated for him, but simply that judgement is harsh

I'd take Ole til the end of the season. He can definitely get us points and can actually set us up to play counterattacking football properly.

Shame, was some glimpses at the start of the season but long throwin long ball shite was enogh for me. Boring football. Never got a chance or backing from the injuries but we need a rocket up the ass so hope they get a battle hardned temp in. No fancy shite for now please.

the right decision . It was a short awful tenure. It just didn’t work . Still not guaranteed at all to stay up because of these shithouse players that have just gotten another manager the boot .
