Just block both threads. I’ve had the Ange one on ignore for ages, had this one too for a while but am fairly interested in what others are saying. It will be confined to history for me after the end of this season though that’s for sure. He’s been the most disappointing of appointments we could have ever made. Didn’t do himself or the club justice. May never recover from it as a manager in this country.

Super post.

Some of the comments on here are frankly appalling.

Mistake, hopefully not one we can't recover from, and an appointment that should be learned from.

I did read players got pissed off with frank as was lording Woolwich to them. Tbh I think players first few games were buying into him but early realised his tactics were shit and antiquated. He should have gone after Woolwich away. Still cant forget towards end of first half that game he got vicario from just inside own half just to lump it into Woolwich box but ball sailed over for a goal kick. Diabolical tactics.

I think Frank will make a good pundit at the World Cup. Better than most of the shit we have to put up with.

Just because he was wrong for Spurs - and walked into a shit show of a squad - doesn't make him unqualified to talk about football ffs

I read it's him on the BBC, and Postecoglou on ITV. At least Postecoglou has managed a national team at senior level, and has some senior caps as a player.

The U20's World Cup is next year, that's the limit of Frank's international football career.
Celtic are after him apparently

Scottish football is poor & probably on a level with league one. Might be the perfect fit for Frank.
I actually think he'd be a horrible fit for Celtic. He's clearly not made for managing a team expected to dominate and have a win-at-all-costs mentality. Genuinely think he'd flop there and get sacked.

He need to go to an underdog again - that's the only type of club where his negative, data-driven, set piece + cross spamming shtick will be accepted and work.

When I look at the current Prem I struggle to pick a club I can picture him doing well at tbh. Maybe like Sunderland? Or one of the relegation/promotion teams? Leeds? Almost all the others team to currently have better styles of play and more ambition on the ball than Frank would offer.

He needs to be somewhere where the players, fans and media don't mind his side never being the protagonist in games. His Brentford thrived on being ignored, always nicking goals and results from teams who didn't see them coming.

Celtic is one of the worst places he could possibly go, they are the focus of every game they play and are always being measured against the ghosts of glories past.

He'd have every chance of getting another Champo minnow promoted with a data-driven operation requiring a manager who will adapt to whatever he's given. Maybe have a go at the Watford carousel.
