I really don't understand the trust, they decide on certain issues to make a big song and dance, but on other more relevant issues to the club, stay silent.
They do good, assisting fan issues and the like (disability, ticketing, pricing) , but should either (a) avoid adopting a position on wider issues entirely or (b) get a vote from their members for every contentious issue.

They certainly should not be saying they don't support the appointment of a new manager because some people sent them emails.

I go on about it a lot but the mk dons boycott call (which obviously didn't work) did it for me. How can a few people decide that mk dons, who at this point had given all the honours "back" to AFC Wimbledon, should be not be able to exist. Why does that matter to us? Why are we acting on behalf of Wimbledon fans?

Clearly you do not understand "real" football, what next, we as a club (supporters trust) recognise Enfield Town as the "true" Enfield (although they folded and reformed as Enfield 1893) team, denying the real Enfield's existence who now play in Hertford? 🤔

I've said this many times and I'll say it again. The fact that a group like this actually thinks a billion pound company gives a shit what they think is laughable

Did they offer a response ?

I would say, its about now any sensible person would realise they just shit the bed and might need to backtrack somewhat

Problem is, I dont think these guys are sensible - and they just got more attention in the last 48 hours than they have in the last year or so

So I expect theyll ignore those asking WTF and carry on their own self righteous way...

I dont even think its virtue signalling, just opportunism
they are so full of themselves that they believe they can speak for the fans without talking to them.

to presume the fan base wants the ST throwing bombs at the club during the most critical stretch of games in living memory (for most) is presumptuous indeed

I don't remember any such urgency in their talk about Daniel Levy or about ownership as the club has been going to pot over the course of 8-10 years

Do you guys have Homeowner's Associations in the UK?

I ask because the THST's self-importance gives me big "HOA" vibes. Over here in the US, a lot of housing communities are incorporated or otherwise run by an elected board that controls rules and regulations that you agree to abide by as a term for living in the community, and they are notorious for unnecessary drama and their self-importance; things like fining people for putting their garbage out for pickup too early - or bringing them in too late - for not keeping grass height inside of regulations or stuff like that. It's pretty common to hear stories like "My neighbor who I don't get along with lost their job; now they got elected as HOA President making $100k/year and I caught them in my yard last night after dark, measuring the grass with a tape-measure and taking pictures of my flowers."

No.
Not really a thing over here, thankfully based on that sort of behaviour you describe.
