He's an interesting player. If you went back to 2020, when he came to the league, you would have been reading about what a good finisher he was. There was such tremendous hype around him, but even then some analysts were warning that his game might not translate well to the Premier League. I think the conditions for him to succeed would involve having to start and not playing as a wing. That was not going to be the case with Spurs, which makes me wonder why they wanted him. There are parts of his game that still stand out (pace and crosssing) and I hope he can go somewhere and still be successful. Seems like a good guy.I can't believe the powers-that-be thought that this was going to be a good signing. I appreciate it was only a loan deal, but his wages and non-HG status should have made it a no-no. He's just not good enough for PL.
