Pointless having revisionism for Werner, some players just can't be saved no matter who is managing them.
Son has been great for us- the few times he actually runs to and crosses from the endline.
Sure ya Werner is shit and on way too big of wages. Who cares? I'm not paying his wages- Levy is. He's here now. There is still a decent player there to be used if one can figure it out- especially on a team like ours with very limited proficiency options.
I get it though- it's really fun to run around on a high horse and declare everyone shit. But it doesn't change the fact that we actually have a shit team in 15th and nobody, Coach included, is figuring out any novel ways to use any of our players other than just naively wishing we could throw more money at it.
I Think the vast majority of our players are playing poor because of this coach and lack confidence but shit is shit no matter how much you try to put a halo on it.
The likelihood is that a new manager can come in, they'd be an initial bounce for the players and will play above their level and then they'd level out and return to normality...Werner's normality is still barely above average and it's hardly worth speculating on a player like this especially as he's going back to his parents club anyway.
I completely get that- but we suck and absolutely could have used Werner more capably.
Our manager is a fucking joke. I’m tired of hearing how bad everybody is when the gaffer is a fucking clown and nobody has any faith in him.
And has the shooting ability of the Trump assassin.
That said we are short on fast wingers so he could be used as a late sub more often.
We really need to know what went down with the decision to bring in Werner again.

We paid a loan fee plus 160k per week while at the same time we tried everything to reduce our wage Bill.
I kind of understand why he didnt make the el squad anymore but I dont get why he doesn't make the pl squad anymore.
I hope we will get some info from werner when the season is over on what has happened between him and ange.
And I hope son gets fit in time for the semis otherwise it's only tel for the left side...

We're paying him over 18 months so the overall outlay is significantly less as opposed to a player signing for 5 years for example.
