History Tottenham Boys - We Are Here

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Nah. They came in 50 handed kept their nuts down and initially went unnoticed. Caused a bit of mayhem when they steamed in and made themselves known but when we cottoned on to their numbers they were made short shrift of.

Fair play to them though for making the effort.
Was there that day and can still remember the crush barrier being taken around the side of the pitch.
And that was never a 30,000 gate - much more like 40,000.

As I say I wasn't there but a Charlton fan told me that.
I walked into a bar a few months ago and they had live music and later on this geezers group were singing "all in all just another prick from Millwall"
I told him I was Spurs and we got on like a house on fire 🔥

Talking of Millwall I wasn't there but I have it on good authority that the story of them standing at the back at Charlton and running our mob was true.
I was there ..just above where they came in...it was bollocks...about 20 to 30 ..created an awful shock granted but they where got at quickly and we followed them out all the way to the top of the huge open valley stand...the blond wall bloke with the ford Dagenham donkey jackets still etches in my memory..

Your authoritarian was wrong?
.we then had the panorama bollocks..and we took to them at the den and never took a backward step before , inside the ground when we backed them off all the way to the covered bit on the halfway line..if that fence separating the stand would have come down wed have cleared them,.and definitely not afterward all along o.k.r and would have smashed the Canterbury arms if plod hadn't protected them.

We had a proper good go at that fence mate! Wasn't for lack of trying it stayed upright.

It was shaking and bending and shaking...just wouldn't come out of the concrete.
I will always remember the bin lids after the game deflecting all the rocks and metal and missiles coming our way...nobody went backwards..I still remember an older s.h screaming at us to stand just as we came out of ilderton road onto old Kent road to be met with all that weaponry...happy days 😀

That was my abiding memory from that day.

Arriving at the ground was fine, the game good and then the fence scene of “it’s going…it’s going” was entertainment at its best.

But afterwards, as you say, turning onto the Old Kent Road and seeing rocks and Christ knows what raining down was something else. The bin lids going up like shields was like something out of Gladiator. I was with a couple of mates, all of us around 17, and for a fleeting second thought WTF are we doing here. But an older voice behind us said “Don’t even think about it lads, no one’s going anywhere.” So we didn’t. We just hurled back anything we could find from the direction it came from.

Total madness but wouldn’t swap the memory for the world.

Labour Mp does abh a on a bloke on the ground on cctv ..hits him over and over while hes down and walks free....
Fucking bollocks

Massive difference between being charged with assault and violent disorder.
And being a repeat offender. I’m pretty sure that’s about the 4th time he’s been convicted.

Just stop doing it. Or carry on and do it but you can’t complain about the sentence.
You 100% know the rules of the game at that point.

Could have been worse. Mate was looking at 5 years for first offence when charged with that.

Yeah there's a difference we all know the rules but we all want the same rules ..maybe d's 4th sentence but likeminded lads from the other side knowing what there getting in to and partaking willingly is a bit different tan being set upon and being assaulted violenty .
