You can see for some people football is literally all they have in their life. I don't think they need to support another team or enjoy another sport, they clearly have passion for Spurs, but they definitely need another hobby or a partner of some sort.

- The meaning of "obliged" implies that would be a minimum.

Agreed. As long as these shit owners are here, there is no real hope of winning anything ever. So if its making people miserable, they should not be following this club. If someone just states we are shit and wont win this or that, thats not misery, thats just being rational.
I think the most miserable ones are the ones who come up with things like "the whole league hates us, referees are corrupt, var hates spurs, we are treated so unfairly" Sure there are games where referees will make mistakes which favour the other side, but with this victim mentality , they need some fucking help.
