a) We’re fourth by virtue of playing two more games than all our competitors. Three more than some. Not sure this is a brag when two of the top 6 have had crisis seasons but you do you ENIC love— sorry.

b) Some properly shit teams have made the CL quarters. If the limit of your ambition for an entire season is getting knocked out of Europe by the first good team we play, seek help. I know a website:

I have shown unwavering support for Spurs for 55 years. Wouldn't hear a bad word said about us. I have always been a happy clapper. But the Levy/Conte combo has finally done me.

We pay the highest ticket prices in the country to watch our team. All I want in return is to try and win games with attacking football. And if we lose, que sera sera.

I think getting old isn't helping my enthusiasm.

A lot of people genuinely believed Spurs could change their position in the hierarchy of football and have now realized that’s not how it works and are disillusioned.

The situation with Kane is understandably frustrating. A player like that coming through the academy is once in 50 years and the club has failed to win anything with him.

Combine that with every fan in the world taking so much fun from reminding Spurs fans of both of the above, it’s not hard to see why Spurs fans are miserable.

Maybe, it’s just a club that peaked sixty years ago in a shabby part of London with owners that have no further footballing ambitions aren’t going to punch above their weight which is fifth or sixth in the Premier League according to their revenue and the best we can hope for is, at least, to watch decent, bright football every week.

If they came out and said that, I would be totally fine with that.

I've said this before, but if we got an attacking manager like Fonseca 18 months ago and a DOF who shared that same philosophy, even if we were sitting in 6th right now and had a EL game coming up next week I'd be much happier.
