Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Well, I chose to have a £5 Burger from a Van outside the ground yesterday, rather than pay for food inside. That'll teach 'em.

Though, I did grab a pint when inside.. so, let the side down.

Block 254 South Stand had a steady stream of leavers from around 80 minutes.

Took a bit of time yesterday to observe around me, bearing in mind this is pretty much bang in the middle of "wall of noise".

Some around me never utter a word during the game, don't join in any chants or show any real emotion. those to the right of me have 4 seats, which look like they share around with a larger group. It literally is like a nice quiet day out for them, usually interspersed with a 30 minute break at half time.

The fella on my left, threw in the towel on 67 minutes. We stayed until the 89th. There were still lots of fans left in the blocks around me at the end.
I was looking at the score, and the way our defence crumbled, and genuine thought about going home before half time. I ultimately left on 82 minutes just because I didn't want to stand in a queue for a train in the pissing rain.

Here's the thing. If I was going home to something other than a good fucking nagging, I probably would have gone at HT. I still got nagged at when I eventually did get home, but at least it was 45+ minutes less of it.

That's where Spurs are at the moment. I'm not going there to enjoy myself. I'm going there for some peace and quiet.

The library is a cheaper option, so is a Wetherspoons

The white wall is a disaster

One of my biggest frustrations in the stadium is the constant booing. Seems to be at every opportunity fans wanna boo. I get the frustration but I do feel the atmosphere in the stadium effects the players as it puts even more pressure on them to not make a mistake.

Halftime against Southampton when it was 1-1 there was booing!

They think we are Man City. I never boo however pissed off I am because I think it is counterproductive.

It’s probably a build up of frustration. We haven’t looked decent for a good while now . Our goal was also an own goal.

Our last decent performance was probably against the dippers , almost 2 months ago. Frustration builds up . Not sure you can count Leicester as a good performance even if the result was

I don't recognise our 'support' any more. I was all for the new stadium at the time but what a mistake that was. We have basically turned into Woolwich/AFTV. Everything we used to hate (see any thread on this forum for details).

Another reason I won't be renewing. I'm far too old to wear trousers that stop 4" above my ankles, I like wearing socks and I couldn't grow a hipster beard if I tried.

Then you read on TFC that our current malaise is the fault of ST holders.

Come and join us in the Paxton. We're clean shaven and wear proper trousers.

Yeah I don't disagree, I think fan frustration is at an all time high at the moment.

I'm usually a pretty positive person, but even yesterday walking to the train station I was just fuming and wondering what the point is. For the last however many years it's just been a case of us being the nearly team and then something going wrong, or against us puts us off course. This loser mentality has built up all over the club, on the pitch, in the stands.

Need to increase the prices in there (edit: or make another season ticket section in another stand cheaper). Far too many people are there because it is the cheapest stand and they want a nice day out. Put the prices up and the people who really want to be there and get behind the team will find a way to afford it.

I'm lost for another way. It's shit. I had a go in the south east lower yesterday and it was much better. Less moaning and a few more singing. I'm usually in 257 and it is utterly terrible. Will move next season to somewhere where people actually want to get behind the side. Although fuck knows where that is!

Have a word with yourself. They got booed because they were so fucking terrible. They weren't terrible because they got booed. They deserve the ire of the fans. Those two performances were nowhere near good enough. I think Southampton was possibly worse as we barely created anything. Wolves was just a calamity in defence with poor finishing when we got chances, of which we had some good ones.

So the fans aren't making the players bad, it's the players making the fans angry,
